EA needs to be less secretive about their games and let a mass # of volunteers come to their facility to test things out. I would certainly do it.

Thats what CD was for?Maybe they didn't have a guy sim dynasty mode for game testing?

When I download the patch do I have to start my dynasty over or will it apply when the next recruiting class comes in???

Probably the very first thing I would do if I was assigned to dynasty mode testing would be to sim 10 years into the future to see how the teams looked in comparison to the default rosters. That right there would be the starting point that would tell me what needs tweaking.

Yep! So many of us would do it for free. Shoot, I'd pay a 100$ to test the game out of if they would actually listen to my ideas!

Last night when I started the game it updated something. I think that was the patch. Last night at about 10 central time. Has anyone else had this happen?
When you get the patch can you still use the same dynasty or do you have to start another?

I just don't get how it was released this way?

The problem is with the generated recruits, they are terrible, the kickers are unplayable. I saw another post where someone stated that "skill ratings don't matter." I could only laugh at that, then why would they include them?

I am not griping about progression, but when recruits come in as a 4 star at 63 overall, they wont see the field for 3 years. They have low ratings in key categories, unacceptable.

The worst part is that no one from EA has confirmed they are working on a patch. The only people that have recognized a problem are at their customer care center.

It is really time for EA to pay more attention to detail on their games. It is inexcusable for a video game to have this many flaws and glitches year-in, year-out.

I firmly believe that today's online infrastructure allowing patches has resulted in EA accepting release day products with known flaws and a SOP philosophy of using patches as a routine process to address them. Makes it much easier to hit deadlines for release.

Sad really, but if you've been playing their football games as long as I have, you can't help but notice the pattern.

It will apply to your dynasty going forward, but not anything that has already happened.

Thanks Nextel, I'm for years in and most teams i've played have graduated their kickers. Some suck but the others are better than mine

Let's get one thing straight, were only talking about one issue correct? I understand its a problem and what not but lets take it easy. Its one problem, not two, three or four like year's past. So let's look at the bright side, this should more then likely be patched. So once that happens this all becomes a moot point. So let's relax, and be happy that this is the only issue. Truthfully, its yet to even effect me, since I play all of my games. By the time I even get to year 3 or 4 its going to take me at least a month. I'm willing to bet the patch is out in the next few weeks or so, maybe around Madden time. At least this year were waiting for a patch to make a very good game that much better. As opposed to the last few years where we waited for patches to make the game playable....

You must have missed the PA Screen glitch thread, the FG hitting the goal post resulting in a first down for the kicking team gltich, the team scores in OT, gets the ball back and throws an incomplete pass so the game is over glitch, etc.

I love the game but I'm only in year one of offline dynasty. It will get annoying if things like kickers can't make an xp or teams like Texas have less talent than Vanderbilt. Hopefully there will be a fix for this. Sometimes you don't know all the issues until they play out. IMO EASports will try to improve this issue.

I've seen all kinds of threads, but I've never once witnessed the cpu do any of that. I've questioned a few attemted field goals by the cpu, but that was it. I read in terror about the boot screen glitch prior to purchase, only to see it once in a ranked gm. Every game has some sort of glitches, everything you just mentioned should be easily patched. I'm not saying there aren't little issues, the ratings issue being a little more significant. I'm jus sayin these things should all be addressed, so lets jus be happy we have a playable game this year.
