Just played the WORST online game I've ever seen. He was Florida I was Boise. I win the coin toss and kick. After failing to abuse Demps he goes for it on 4th down on his own 14. He fails, I take over and score.
On his next drive he calls a pitch play from some I formation, motions his fullback and has 3 more blockers than defenders and he picks up 40. Next play he calls a screen and I call man, but he just scrambles 20 yards back and outruns my blitzing corner with JOHN BRANTLEY, then throws the screen to Demps, who despite having man coverage called, had no defender within 10 yards and scores.
My guy drops the open 3rd down pass next drive so I punt.
He scores by cheesing the scrambling screen pass again, except this time my 2 defenders both miss the tackle. No, he didnt juke or anything, they MISSED him entirely.
Defensively he's using man coverage every single play.
I eventually take a 21-17 lead after I start using defensive keys to stop his pitches. With 2 minutes left I force 1. A 4 yard loss on his pitch, 2. a sack. and 3. An incompletion.
On 4TH AND 26 he scrambles 15 yards and bombs it to a receiver on the sideline, who despite being double covered managed to come out with the 27 yard completion. This was absolute bull. I had a cover 4, 2 outside zones, and QB contain yet he gets it off just before the DE sacks him.
I keep stopping his pitches but he continues to abuse the scrambling screen which must be an exploit because Moody and Demps never had a defender within 10 yards despite man coverage and flat coverage.
Needless to say he scores with 35 seconds left. I was pretty ticked at this point but I know I had one more drive.
I end up hitting 2 deep routes to make it to the 30 with 24 seconds left. I make it to the 10 with 17 left. On 3rd and 5 I call a pass from 4 WR set. He calls man coverage for the hundredth time, and ALL FOUR CORNERS RUN THE ROUTE BEFORE THE RECEIVER. ALL FOUR. Not sure what was worse, the 4th and 26 or this. Both were ridiculous.
