Cause after playing a game where the AI doesnt psychically know your plays, and the coverage isnt like every player is Darrel Revis. I find it hard to go back.

? Ncaa is just about the easiest game to use the pass on, hell on heisman i took a 89 rated WR and had 77 rec for 1454 yards and 13 tds in my 1st franchise. and the madden demo was nothing special. good but not a 1st day run out and grabMadden Franchise

I always forget that NCAA runs basically on the old Madden Engine every year until i play the new madden and notice outright.
Specifically
-DB's have much shorter and more accurate animations for swatting passes
-Linebackers dont seem to have 50 inch verts
-Coverage is not mirror like
-Gameflow keeps the cpu from calling a 4-3 when you are in 5 wide
These are my biggest peeves with NCAA (Dynast not withstanding) I know they can patch all of this, but by then (as usual) ill be playing madden. And this year moreso than ever its probably gonna be harder to back and forth.
And its not that its hard to pass on NCAA its that the game forces you to exploit the AI to do so. Also my dbs dont play to their ratings because of this and they seem to fall for the same expliots in AILast edited by feeq14; 07-29-2010, 10:16 AM.Comment

Nope. Played a good half of Madden and had seen everything that I need to see. I think I'll stick with NCAA this year.

After hearing the overly excited announcer (Collingsworth, I think), and seeing the awful gameplay that you could complete every single pass you threw with your eyes closed, I deleted the demo. Don't forget having to listen to the coordinator every play and realizing they dumbed the game down EVEN MORE to make it easier for everyone...North Carolina Tar Heels

I've been looking for anything to spark my interest in Madden since I learned that there'd be no real updates to franchise. I thought that the demo would seal my decision and make me want to trade in NCAA. I think this year will be the first year in a long, long time that I will actually go back to my old rotation of a year of NCAA followed by a year of Madden. Heck, actually it's the one of the first times this gen that I won't put NCAA down completely once Madden drops. All I can say is it's a great time to be a football fan who plays video games and great job by both teams.
