Is it pointless to continue your dynasty?

Now that you know there will be a patch that fixes recruits and progression. I'm already in my second season and I have several teams with poorly rated kickers. I know the patch will work with existing dynasties, but it won't fix the current recruits.

Will you be starting your dynasty over or do you not care?

I just finished my third season, but I'm gonna start over when the patch comes out. Until then, I'll work on RTG and get the last few trophies I need.

I'm going to continue playing (just because I have nothing better to do). But I will start over once progression is fixed, hopefully with the tuner set next week.

do we know for sure that these changes won't affect current/in-progress dynasties?

it'd be great if we can continue our current dynasties with the patch changes...

I believe that they will fix current dynasties, however, only "going forward," not retroactively change the ratings of already entered recruits. So the OPs question is more or less, "What do we do with those 1 or 2 classes of crummy players?"

I'm going to keep with it and just pretend like there was something in the water with the recruiting class of 2010-2011.... "The Lost College Football Class." haha.

I'm starting over for sure. The CPU teams badly need a "redo" on multiple levels.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

                I'm starting over.

I don't want to be stuck with the stiff-hipped WR's, rubber legged K/P's and overall dimwitted recruits I have now.

This won't be in Patch 2......... from what the blog says, it doesn't even acknowledge this problem, right?

Incorrect. Read about the tuner sets.

A general goes to war with the army he is given. When you get a truly special recruit you will have a lot more joy especially if he develops into something awesome.

Re: Is it pointless to continue your dynasty?

Im sticking with it. I have a nice recruiting class and already feel a bond with some of the players. I can deal with this class having low awareness and few of my WR's with grandpa like elusivness and juking ability.

See, I don't know... If you think about it, most people are going to willing to abandon their dynasty and start over. From what I've read, the concensus is that progression, broken from the start, is ruining any hopes of a long, successful dynasty career. Why, in that case, would anyone stick with a dynasty that will eventually devolve into a dead fish.

Unless, of course, you're being sarcastic...

Well, no way am I going to start over my online dynasty since it'll effect current dynasties. I'll probably be in year 2 by the time it comes out, but thats okay. Two years of **** classes isn't going to hurt.

Im not sure what you mean. I play many dynasty years anyway, so i can wait for a few more classes to get to where its supposed to be. One or two strange classes of players wont really have that much effect on the future dynasty.
