Re: NBA 2K11 Screenshot: Andre Iguodala
Doesn't look like they've put THAT much into the graphics, YET. Most of the screens look like 2k10 at the moment, because its still early."I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life
Look behind you, I'm bout to pass you twice
Back to the future and gotta slow up for the present
I'm fast, dudes can't get past my past
How they supposed to deal with my perfect present?"Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Screenshot: Andre Iguodala
I seriously doubt they can do much with these models. Builds don't change that drastically, and if they do, it's usually gameplay tweaks.
I just wanna know, why can someone with a PC mod do better player faces than the paid professionals?
Is it a time issue? They have to make sure new players get done in the game period, so they can't do much tweaking?Comment

I'm not saying the faces shouldn't be as good as possible, but you can't compare something that people do in their spare time with no pressure whatsoever - to the tight schedule of the guys at 2K Sports. My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

Probably because PC modders can work on one face for like a week or two if they want to. And some of them release a screenshot to show people and ask for their opinion every couple of days. If you want 2K to work like that, you'd have to expect a game every 3 years.

WOW... I live in Philly , I see this guy play all the time...Looks NOTHING like that. In 2k10 I dropped his weight down to 194 so his body type changed and I woul think they would get his hair right seeing as how he has a lot more than that. And Also ,
why do all the players have these generic Nikes , he wears his AI9 Skyposites and a half sleve. The reason I play 2k is because they usually get the little details right.76ers and Eagles

And I thought we're talking about a professional studio that pays big salaries to employees with degrees? If I'm working that position I'd expect nothing but perfection when I'm creating a real life likeness.
We're seeing the same problem year after year in this department. I'm not gonna nerd-rage over it. It just doesn't make sense for people earning a salary making worse models than guys in their basements, year after year.
Oh well - I'm getting it for PC again so myself and the modding nation can clean up the game.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Screenshot: Andre Iguodala
Are we sure this is 2K11? Red is still pink. It would really be a shame to go through another version of this game with an incorrect color palette. And they know the color is wrong from all the protests on these forums last year and comparisons with the actual court and uniforms of the 76ers. So there's
no excuse not to have this fixed for 2K11.Comment

Again, I'n not syaing they shouldn't make it all great, or that they're not getting enough money for that. I am saying that in my opininon they're far more busy than the guy who does it in his basement. My Specs:
