CPU logic stinks, calling blitzes so often that slot fly and skinny post routes are too easy to complete. But for me, calling an engage 8 always gets stuffed at the line. It's like the blitzers trip over their own feet.

I've stopped using massive blitzes and now only rush one extra guy now and then.

No need to take them out of the game though. Just do a game-wide defensive aggressiveness adjustment prior to starting your dynasty, and it should take out a lot of the goofiness.
