so it works like a update? as soon as you boot the game it will tell you there is a "tuner" avaialble?

In NHL 10, tuners downloaded after you press START on the "press start" screen

I'm sure EA would let us know if there was an update out.

The blog clearly states that the patch is a few weeks out but the tuning set I think might be this week. Or we just find out more info on the tuner set this week.

Im betting on Thursday or Friday. I'll be out of town Thursday morning -> Sunday night, so if it's not here by Wednesday, then I'm indifferent and will wait till whenever.

Android 2.2 and NCAA tuners this week... a big week no doubt!

Waiting for these tuners to fix progression and finally allow me to start a real dynasty is worse than waiting for the actual game! Mainly cause we have no idea yet when this update will come out.

I'm just hoping these will indeed fix the progression.

They should work in your currfenty dynasty, but it will have no influence on the players that you have already recruited/recruiting, just the ones that come into play after the "generating recruits" screen.
