Is there any way we could lock this until the tuner is actually released? This all seems like drivel right now.

Re: NCAA Football 11 Patch #2 Update (EA Sports Blog)
I think it should stay open only because, today alone, there were 2 other threads on "if a patch is coming / progression / etc," and if it were closed, people would just make more.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Patch #2 Update (EA Sports Blog)
Just stop people. Stop. The problem was figured out quite a while ago, well before this patch update came out. None of you are going to suddenly become enlightened or have some brainy idea that hasn't been discussed since release.
There is more than one problem with recruiting and ratings and progression is among the least of those concerns. You don't have some magic pill to make it all better because there are multiple fixes that need to be applied to different areas of the game.
Let's just sit and wait and see how EA decides to handle this as I'm sure some of these areas will still be broken or flawed after the patch depending on how they choose to solve the issues.
Allow me to repeat one last time... PROGRESSION IS NOT THE CORE OF THIS PROBLEM. Let's stop using that buzzword to describe the many flaws in dynasty mode.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Patch #2 Update (EA Sports Blog)
I think I just had an enlightening!!!!
The problem isn't with recruit ratings or the progressions itself....It has to do with RECRUITING LOGIC!
Now hear me out....
IN SUMMARY, the CPU recruit logic is garbage and needs to change.
If you agree with me, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.
Sorry, but the problem is all three of those things. The ratings for WR/K/P's especially are wonked. All players have horrible AWR. You can't find a HB that can catch the ball. One QB in a class has an "A" level arm...maybe.
In addition, they don't progress.Don't look back too long and don't look too far ahead.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Patch #2 Update (EA Sports Blog)
The best overall QB in the class in my dynasty has A+ arm strength so I don't know about that. But all the WR's have no juke/spin/elusiveness and all the kickers and punters suck.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Patch #2 Update (EA Sports Blog)
Just booted up the game when I saw Midwest_Hitman's last post.
1. Was able to hook up with the EA servers
2. Got the "Checking Online Gameplay Tuning" message.
3. Booted up a new dynasty just to generate new recruits. Bad news. Still only one QB with A+ arm strength, no improved juke/elusiveness ratings for receivers, and everyone is still dumb.
Sorry if this "updated" info was common knowledge to some. It looked like there was some confusion with some people so I was trying to clarify.
