I see the Thunder being a popular pick. You have a great scorer in Durant, fast athletic team that can run on anybody.

I've been using the Celtics since Rondo started making an impact, he's definitely my favorite 2k player, but that was only mainly last year for me because I just couldn't handle being dominated as the Rockets with Chuck Hayes as my 6'6'' center. Size killed.

Thunder should be your #5. Bulls my unseat the Celtics, but Shaq adds more juice, uggh keep the Celtics, drop the Nuggs, they are going to fall from the top next season IMO.

Back to back chips doesn’t happen often in the current era of basketball and sports, so you know this team is legit.
Not that the lakers arent legit but the first part.

Let's look at other sports for a second...

Eight different MLB franchises have won a World Series since 2001.

Eight different NFL franchises have won a Super Bowl since 2000.

Eight different NHL franchises have won a Stanley Cup since 2001.

Again...

Eight different NBA franchises have an NBA Title since 1979.

There's a true sports fan, using the Sixers a team that isn't top 5 but an up and comer is what a true baller is. I'm a Laker fan but I don't use them because they are so good.

Again OP, the Thunder should be your #5 no question dump the Nuggs they are dropping from top shelf relavance next year. The Celtics barely hold on with the Bulls at #6.

I'm not so sure about the Celtics. I've rarely seen them over the past 3 years of playing this game. The Celtics are underused mainly because Rondo can't shoot 3s and no one on their team is a big-time dunker. They're a jumpshooting team.

One team I think people are forgetting about is the Rockets. If Yao Ming comes back that team will be legit, and we all know Yao is everyone's favorite big guy because he's really tall.

Lastly I'm pretty sure you'll be seeing more Mavericks users than Denver. Tyson Chandler/Haywood will make them a rebounding and interior defensive machine.

I think the warriors will be my sleeper team this year. If someone pulls out the heat or lakers I will run with the bulls! bobcats will get some burn too cuz they my home team

It's tough being a Raps fan these days...

this season it'll suck, but imagine later season when we end up having so much cap.


Raptors might end up being the best team to use in franchise mode if you want to basically start from scratch cause after this season, raptors have like 30M in cap space.

I'm not going to play aganst the Heat. Wade & Lebron cheesing all game is all anyone is going to do, unless you can really lock them down on D, but my guess is people will find a way to exploit them.
