I have the retail version and this happens a lot. I did a throw to Miles Austin, and he jumped to catch it and on the way down, a defender hit his legs and it caused a new animation where he bounced back up like he was jumping again, then fell. It was like he bounced on a pogo stick, but never hit the ground.
