Tuning pack for offline users??
I tried to wade through 36 pages on the tuning pack, but how do we get it offline?Tags: None -
Re: Tuning pack for offline users??
Someone has to be nice enough to upload it for us. It's supposed to be a normal save file like a roster, etc. we would just have to resign the save to our profile/console when they upload it (the directions are around here, but the link is escaping me right now).Gamertag: Jasoninator -

Re: Tuning pack for offline users??
This MIGHT actually work for PS3...I tried copying the tuner to a flash drive, and deleted the original from my PS3. Then copied the file over from that flash drive and it went through with it. I was expecting to get a copy protection message here, but it didn't happen. That said, it was my own file, copied directly from my own PS3...no telling whether it would work by copying it to someone else's PS3.
I don't have bandwidth space to handle hosting something like that, but it's probably worth a try for somebody.Comment

Re: Tuning pack for offline users??
Thanks for posting the PS3 tuner file. I was able to transfer it without a problem.
Here's a question though. How do you know if the tuner file is "on" and working? I didn't notice anything on the surface with recruiting when I started a new dynasty. Seems like all the recruits still had very low AWR. Is there a way to tell if the tuning package is in fact on?Comment

Re: Tuning pack for offline users??
Thanks David for the response, but I think I might not have asked my question correctly. I understand how to load the update. But what I want to know is if there is a way to know if the update is being applied. The reason I ask is, I want to know if I have to load the update manually by how you mentioned it above every single time I turn the game on or start my dynasty back up, or does it happen automatically when you start up the game.Comment

I don't think there's a sure way to know it's on, but this is from Russell's thread

If you save it you should not have to touch loading the file again. (if you don't it will simply download it everytime)

As long as you loaded it correctly, you're fine. And don't judge anything by awareness. Here's what Russ said yesterday about AWR ...Thanks David for the response, but I think I might not have asked my question correctly. I understand how to load the update. Sorry, I don't have an Xbox, so I'm not familiar with that process. Can anybody here explain the Xbox process for getting the tuning pack offline?Comment

Re: Tuning pack for offline users??
A USB stick works. Insert the stick, your xbox formats it, then copy the tuner save file to the usb stick. Then hook the usb stick up to your computer and use a nifty program to see the xbox files and copy them to your computer where they can be easily uploaded. I'm on mobile so I can't copy links, but in the roster section someone uploaded an offline copy of the Community Roster and the program needed is in that first postGamertag: JasoninatorComment
