    Bad News

Its seems as though post patch when i try to change Anything (add t.o.) on my custom rosters. The team ratings go all the way down. And to try to randomize the ratings aain will put people out of position. Booooo

The depth chart is also really messed up on a lot of teams. Not just out of order, but all the ratings have changed, so for instance Tom Brady may not be the best QB on the team anymore.

I imagine it's messing up what's in-game when you accept the patch.Anytime you alter gold star players, team bias the ratings change, even before the patch.

I have the 360 but would think if you have a saved file or download one to use and drop it in-game at this point it should be alright.

Yeah sketch i just downloaded your file and was checking the rams depth chart and its all messed up. When I try to edit it, it wont let me. Am I just missing something? When I try to save it says it not my file. So do we have to wait for you to update another roster file so that we can have the proper starters again?

its true. im having the same problem with my custom teams. so sketch, before you waste your time, no matter what u do u can't fix it because if you edit another team it gets screwy again. so delete the patch and fix it. the downfall of this all is theres 2 terrible options.
option a- have custom teams but gameplay is pre patch
            or
option b- having the patch and ur custom teams screwed up.

we need to inform more people and natural motion so that they can fix it.

              Re: Bad News

Here are the facts. I put a fresh copy of my file onto my ps3. It turns out if you don't go into the my teams area and click on a team all rosters are still 100% accurate. Once u click on a team in the editing section all hell breaks loose. I really feel bad for people who don't have a back up. They prolly lost all there work. Long story short put my file on your profile and dont edit anything, dont even view anything or it will jumble it up. You can check the rosters validity during games. It will be 100% accurate unless u go into the my teams section.
I will delete the patch later to add t.o. and coles to jets.

Does it still screw things up if you start completely from scratch?

...answer, yes it does. What a stupid thing for them to have done.

                  Re: Bad News

Well, I've been messing with it a little bit... it shuffles the ratings every time you go to the first team screen. So if you've got an established roster that needs a player added... you're kinda screwed. If you're willing to do a team's entire roster in one sitting, you're ok.

Basically we aren't going to be able to do week-by-week updates unless someone wants to stay patch free. Might as well just work on getting the logos and uniforms as accurate as possible right now, then doing the rosters after the NFL season starts so we can start our season modes with an accurate opening day roster. Trying to keep up with reality day to day just isn't going to happen.

Is this on the 360 as well when using Fynn's pc roster editor?

                      Re: Bad News

If you look at the team, it gets shuffled. So, Finn's editor is fine as long as you don't look at the teams in-game.

I tried to create a complete team (Montreal Alouettes from the CFL ps3 rosters) and it went well, but as soon as I arrived in the game, it was all messed up... horrible feeling...
