They are telling us this week, apparently. My guess is it's gonna be the 19th or the 26th, (two Thursdays following this week).

Speculation warning! If they're giving demo details this Thursday, one can assume the following week would be a logical release date for said demo. This also aligns with Rammer's mid-August estimate.

Yeah I would say Thurs the 19th for PSN, assuming the demos for both consoles are coming out around the same time this year...

It would be all sorts of awesome if Thursday was the actual demo date as a suprise. I'd imagine it'll prolly be next week though.

Can't wait to get my mittens on the coming demo.

Only probem is, once you play the demo, it's always tough to enjoy the final few weeks of last years game. But it's a good problem to have.

PSN updates Today so I think it should be either today or next week, I think the 25th is a bit too far, they had said mid-august. I would LOVE it to be today but I don't think it will be today

I had that problem with last year's demo. I couldn't go back to 09 after it dropped. I'm guessing the same thing will happen this year as well. I guess in a way its a good thing I'll be starting a new job and won't have as much time to hang out on OS as much as I'm used to, should make the wait go by alot quicker.

Once the demo comes out for me, I always trade away the old game while it still has trade value :P

Yeah, same... if the game actually makes it that long. It's rare for me to play a sports game, from release, to the next release.

Usually I've played every NHL game I've gotten on release through till the new game's release, but this year was different. NHL 10 just didn't really get much attention once January hit. NHL 10 wasn't as addiciting as NHL 09 was. Hopefully NHL 11 will change that.
