    Post-season recruiting question

Haven't seen this covered yet, and I'm still only in Year One of my off-line dynasty. I read somewhere that more recruits get added for post-season recruiting.

    First off, is that true?

Secondly, from someone who's cycled through this before, can you give some flavor on the caliber of the added recruits? How many recruits, more or less, are added? Do they tend to skew more toward JUCO's?

I play as Florida State, and while my class is ranked No. 10 right now, I whiffed on several five-star recruits and lineman. I've nabbed a five-star HB, WR and CB, and four-star C, SS, MLB and DE. But I'm still weak at T, G and I'd like to nab a QB who can back-up E.J. Manuel for two years. So I'm curious what the outlook will be ((I'm in week 10 of the season, so lots of time left)) after my Bowl game.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes like last year there are new recruits added.

I only looked at the 5* and 4* players and saw a few 5*'s (4-5 players) and a good many 4*'s (15-20 players). All the ones I targeted were all high school players. Can't say I saw any JuCo's but didn't look very close. With Georgia I had missed on 3 guys and had 2 players leave early. The "new" recruits filled holes.
Relax, it's just a video game!

Unless you are a major power, you aren't going to get a lot of the added recruits, because you're going to see ones with 10+ scholarships, I've seen a center with like 32 scholarship offers one year. Your best bet in off season recruiting is going after players who are interested in you only.

I see a lot of Juco's in the offseason, and i think only 4* and 5* recruits are added. So you see a lot of teams go after the few open players, so I would only go after people who have you in their top three.

I've seen both 5* stars and 4* added to offseason recruiting with a number of them being JUCO but there's no arbitrary amount. After that I never really pay attention lesser rated players unless I absolutely need them. I'd imagine though that lower schools need their recruits in the offseason as well.
