I agree the short length still seeming too long worries me a bit. Sidenote I am going to beast with Orlando Woolridge.Comment

I see #20 on this pic, Eugene Banks. He played for the local team where I lived, I think from 1990-1992. He lived 2 blocks from my house and I've been to many practices of the team, and though talked to other players, never talked to him. He would never talk to anyone, very quiet guy.My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

I'm going to do the opposite and complete the cycle. I'm going to start him with the Wizards and win a bunch of championships and then when he gets old, finish his career with the Bulls.
Fun stuff!!Comment

Re: 2K announces MJ: Creating a Legend Mode, First Screen of Jordan as a Rookie
I absolutely love this, but I hope they didn't just do a lot on this and not concentrate a lot on my player. This basically sounds like "my player mode featuring Jordan" not saying that's a bad thingComment

Re: 2K announces MJ: Creating a Legend Mode, First Screen of Jordan as a Rookie
Good read 2k.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

I think people may also need to consider that the screen maybe of a young Jordan on the current Bulls team not a classic team.PSN=Coolcas7Comment

Re: 2K announces MJ: Creating a Legend Mode, First Screen of Jordan as a Rookie
the reason his shorts are nromal length is because he is being put into a modern day NBA league, its like a "what if" scenerio IMO, where you can start Jordan's career in the modern day, and see how he progresses/succeeds with you in control (what if Jordan was rookie in today's NBA), so having classic style shorts would not make any senseComment

Re: 2K announces MJ: Creating a Legend Mode, First Screen of Jordan as a Rookie
I'm pretty sure that the screenshot is supposed to be Jordan from 1986 specifically the 63 points game 2 against Boston. Therefore the shorts look to maybe be a little long and the compression shorts are inaccurate as he did not wear them at that time.
Just saw that Beluba adressed this. Great to hear that. I have to say that I am very impressed with the atempts to stay as accurate as possible. Hoping for the infamous Jordan calf sleeve with the red strip. Also very encouraged to see that He is wearing the accurate shoes that correspond to this particular game. Hoping that transfers to all the games such as the XIs for 96 etc. On a personal note I especially loved the Jordans he wore in the playoffs in 1991, and also praying we might be lucky enough to see Scottie Pippens AIR more uptempos (my favorite shoe in NBA history) during the 1996 finals challenge against the Sonics. Again just awesome news.Last edited by LeBronistheKing; 08-11-2010, 05:36 PM.Comment
