First time poster, long time reader. I may be missing something about the tuners but wouldn't it be a whole lot easier if these tuning options were given to the consumer? EA wouldn't have to sit here and give justification to why progression is the way it is and people wouldn't have to complain. Why not let it be just like the sliders they provide for the game already? Has this been mentioned already or is this impossible for some reason?Comment

I've played two games post patch and I feel like the game has been improved exponentially. The CPU plays much better then they did before. Both in play calling and in the execution of those plays. It was great to have 3 offsides calls against me because of the aggressive DL setting. Getting a 60 yard pass play off of a Set Up! play-action pass was a thing of beauty.
Sure, I could list a dozen or more fixes/tunes that would make the game even better, but there are no issues right now that are lessening my enjoyment of the game even the slightest bit.
This game will not be coming out of the console until NBA 2K11 drops.

HOW ABOUT USING TEAM COLORS WITH TEAM BUILDER. SO WE CAN HAVE A CHOICE OF COLOR CLEATS WE CAN WEAR RATHER THAN JUST BLK AND WHT. COLORED SOCKS. STADIUM BUILDER SO WE CAN CREATE OUR OWN STADIUM. JERSEYS BEING TORN, THE CHOICE TO HAVE YOUR BACK PLATE SHOWING OR COVERED. CUSTOM EYE BLACK. THE ACTUAL FLAG BEING THROWN OWN PENALTIES, OTHER PERSONAL FOUL PENALTIES OTHER THAN ROUGHING THE KICKER AND FACEMASK. HOW BOUT LATE HIT OUT OF BOUNDS AND HIT ON A DEFENSELESS PLAYER. HOW BOUT IN BAD WEATHER THE FIELD GETS CHOPPED UP. HOW BOUT IN TEAM BUILDER WE CAN HAVE THE SIDELINES PAINTED IN THE TEAM COLOR. MORE THAN JUST TWO SLOTS FOR LOGOS.

just fired up an offline dynasty game and had 0 dirty uniforms. it wasn't raining though. also for the tuning package #2, does it override #1? i just checked my files and i only had one after turning the game on and updating.Comment

They overdid the CPU pursuit. I've seen the CPU actually intercept the toss on the WB Toss play out of Flexbone. That should never happen. This isn't an option run we are talking about here. They intercepted the toss before the play even developed.Comment

I loved this game pre-patch. I loved this game after Patch #1. I love this game after Patch #2. Honestly, this is the most fun I've had with a football game since NFL 2K5.
Only had time for 1 game, took Penn State on the road (and in the rain) to play No. 7 Virginia Tech. Won 13-7 on default Heisman settings. Just a great, great game.
Saw dirty unis on both sides!!! Very cool to see the feel get tore up as the game went on too. It wasn't overdone at all, same goes for the wear and tear on the jerseys.
CPU jumped offsides! Never saw this before.
Game felt really balanced, and this is playing on Heisman. EA is doing a great job tuning/patching this game and I think it's perfect right now.Currently Playing:

Trust me i know how the ratings work man and i know what it is meant to do. My debate is that the rating isn't just for WR's and RB's....
It also impacts QB's a great deal since they touch the ball.
A wr that doesn't have big play ability shouldn't be rated high in Elusiveness plain and simple. That is why they have the Juke Move rating and spin move ratings. Those ratings have a lesser IMPACT on the overall ratings which is probably why EA will give those same WR's your speaking of a higher juke move than Elusiveness rating and then reserve the elusiveness rating for special WR's like i mentioned earlier Peter warrick types.
They did the same thing in Madden so i'm not sure why you guys are upset when they treat the NFL WR's exactly the same

Boldin has 74 Elu/86 Juke
Mason hasd 81 Elu/94 Juke
Clayton has 75 Elu/92 Juke
Stallworth has 50 Elu/89 Juke
Williams has 55 Elu/87 Juke
In it you'll notice the Juke Move ratings for the WR's are higher than the Elusivness ratings it helps EA to seperate guys like Desean Jackson from the rest of the field.
Keep in mind Elusivness also IMPACT BREAK TACKLE ABILITY and those ratings are already WAY OVERATED for WR's to begin with in NCAA.
SO if your giving every guy a 80+ Elusiveness your basically saying all WR's have the ability to make big plays with the ball in their hands avoid tackles and defenders.
That is not true because some guys like Joey Galloway had great speed but he wasn't very elusive like a Deion Sanders type DB with the ball in his hands.
So if you guys want to be upset that new recruits aren't rated like a Desean Jackson in that area by all means go ahead but keep in mind in comparison with the Madden 10 and 11 ratings system EA has been consistent with that rating. They are only using it to seperate WR's and RB's ability on the field.
