    Wii version

I searched, but did not find it.

    Anyone have the Wii version?

Also, I'm fairly new to Madden. I just bought the Wii game, but don't want to open it until I can find out the following.

Can you play specific players (WR, QB, etc)?

I want to play rookie players like Tebow, Bradford, McCoy, Claussen, and Skelton (AZ). Is that possible on the Wii? Are these players even available on the Wii?

How does someone play specific players on other platforms?

I also have a 360, and would consider buying it, but my 5 and 7 yo sons like the Wii controls.

This is the link to the other thread:

But I'm afraid not many of your questions got answered there.

If you play alone, you always control the player with the ball. If you play with others, you can control specific players. One has to always control the QB I believe.

I don't think the Wii controls are much easier to learn than the xbox controls (pressing a button is easier than pointing the remote at a receiver and the hit stick is easier to control than 4 buttons - I didn't try the arcade control schemes), but the 5vs5 mode and the mode where you can assist the main player by pointing at defenders so they stumble are probably nice for kids.

      Thanks, Jojobaer.

I actually got the information on a different forum for the Nintendo Wii.

      The answer is: Yes

In order to play a specific player, just start the game (eg, 11-on-11) and go to OPTIONS > PERSONNEL > DEPTH CHART. Select starter (to replace), then select the player you want to be first string.
