Do you think Gameflow will end up in the Madden graveyard next year?

Do you think Gameflow will end up in the land of forgotten features in 12? Just like the Vision cone, etc? I don't think there is much of a backing to bring it back year? What do you think?

Yes. Then it will return as the brand new feature in 2016.

Why would it, it appeals to the majority of the audience that plays madden, no longer do you have to pick through tons of plays, easy, less confusing, just hit the button and you got it, catch assist, d assist, accel assist, makes for a much more appealing game to the casual, new, and non sports gamer. By making a football game less complicated and faster it appeals to many more people. This is the same reason the wii sells so well. I wouldnt' doubt we see more player assists and game speed ups the next couple years.

Hope not...I like it a lot.

I hope they make the game plan feature deeper.

Gameplan + Gameflow, works really well.

This pretty much sums it up. Gameflow is really nice, occasionally a strange play is called, but its nothing a simple audible doesn't fix.

If they improve defensive game planning, add time remaining/score modifiers, and opponent scouting reports in franchise mode, it'll be back and it'll become indispensable to sim guys.

              Exactly.

Right now, its good, but pretty vanilla: Slap some stars on the plays you want called more then others.

I'd love to be able to tie it in with formation subs, specific personnel packages...as well as down and distance.

Maybe even give use the ability to script the 1st 15 plays...stuff like that.

It has the potential to be a really deep feature, for strategy heads.

I hope not, I hope they expand upon it.
And also bring back the Vision Cone.

I agree with sportyguy, this feature is good now, but it really has the potential to become a very indepth tool. Scripting would be really cool. Maybe show 2 plays to chose from even to add alittle more choice to it. If developed right this will be a sim players dream. Please don't get rid of it.

If you have 2 to choose from then "gameflow" really has no purpose. You can just choose to ask madden and get 3 plays to choose from.

I like it because i can put on my headphones and listen to the tips the coach sends in. I like the fact it tells you what to look for, and how many steps there are in the QB's drop back. It also feels like i am running the offense by making the plays the CPU calls work, and not just choose plays i know i can get yards with. For me, it adds a challenge.

thats what you had ask madden for, the only difference now is that you can create a gameplan WHOOOHOO...not. dont fall for this gimmick. You miss out on a year where they could have put some serious work into the career modes, just to have ask madden upgraded.

Couldn't have said it better myself. With gameplan I can't just fall back on the same 1 or 2 plays that I can always make work. It has actually forced me to spend more time studying the defense and trying to figure out how to make the play work!

Why not just leave it in untouched? As long as it's optional.

Nope... it's too good and makes games go so much faster while running just as many plays. Also people like it because we like playing the as the PLAYER on the field, rather than coach where we need to sift through screens of plays for 15 seconds and then play football for 11 seconds.
