I Know, it reminded me about the opener @ NE last year, an erie calm until we get killed the last five mins, we always start strong, and fall apart slowly. Althought it doesnt help that we have 15-20 guys on IR on a regular basis.

Re: [Buffalo Bills 2010] Just the good ol' boys, Never meanin' no harm
TE Shawn Nelson has been suspended 4 games for violating the substance abuse policy.
As for last night I thought they played decently. It seems to me the Colts' regulars on offense were a bit out of sync which allowed the defense to keep the Bills in it. Last but not least I still don't have too much confidence in Edwards but it looks like barring anything crazy happening he's going to be the starter.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

"False Hope" is the primary component to any (current era) Bills fan...

It's what gets us to and through at least week 8 or so, when the phrase "mathmatically eliminated" begins to rear it's annual ugly head...
That said, I have always thought Trent was better than he gets credit for (see: my annual O Line rant) and Spiiler has some moves...

I'd take a flier on Coles providing he comes in for the right price.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Either one would give us some kind of depth at WR, now that Easley is on IR.NFL - Buffalo Bills

Re: [Buffalo Bills 2010] Just the good ol' boys, Never meanin' no harm
I Really like David Nelson, rookie out of Florida.
Antonio Bryant in my opinion would start alongside Evans, but i HIGHLY doubt we make a move.
Steve Johnson is turning into a good reciever, im not basing it off preseason but camp. I went to 8 bills practices at SJF and he made plays.
Also, Parrish has found his 'niche' with the Bills, FINALLY hes really starting to turn his career around.
IMO, i think we have a good core of young receivers, with time i think we can have a recieving by commity rather than a 1, 2 type deal. Evans of course will be the number 1. Any thoughts?
Oh, and if Shawn Nelson wasn't suspended who would start opening day Nelson or Stupar?I like them bothComment

I gave my thoughts on the game thread tonight but I must say one positive thing. It looks like the defense may be just as good or even better then last year's.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: [Buffalo Bills 2010] Just the good ol' boys, Never meanin' no harm
I agree with the article. I was surprised to see so much Shotgun myself though I didn't realize they were in that formation THAT often. Hopefully they go more smashmouth next week. If Gailey wants to be fancy then he might as well try to find some formations that puts all 3 RBs on the field at the same time but that'd be plain crazy. Um I hope none of his staff reads this site LOLMember of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: [Buffalo Bills 2010] Just the good ol' boys, Never meanin' no harm
Hi guys,
After two weeks, how are we doing? I can honestly say that the first two games have sucked the life of this football season out of me. Quickest that's happened in as long as I can remember.
I think the only question we can ask at this point is...just how bad ARE they? Are we looking at a Detroit Lions 2008-type season here?Comment

I think they MIGHT get two wins if things break right for them...Then again it can easily be Detroit Lions in '08 bad. If that happens I wonder how the fans in Buffalo will react?Hi guys,

Anyways Fitzpatrick is now the new starting QB, you know things are crummy when he's looked upon as the "spark" for the offense. I will still watch the games as i'm a diehard but man, it's getting to the point where i'd rather live in the past when it concerns the Bills franchise.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: [Buffalo Bills 2010] Just the good ol' boys, Never meanin' no harm
Hey, ANOTHER great idea!
Bench Trent and give Fitzpatrick 1.5 seconds to pass and a lifetime pass to unlimited concussions...
What really bugs me, is that my ongoing O line rant comes up during game broadcasts, as well as post game shows...are the guys who make the personel decisions this oblivious?
Obviously!
Worst part:
No matter what Edwards fleeting career is ultimately cast as, we'll never really know if this guy had the stuff or not...
He's been conditioned by experience to have the "clock in his head" go off at 1.5, so it's no wonder he's become a shell shocked, concussed, "Captain Checkdown"...
I had no faith in J.P., but this guy looked like he could have been a contender...Comment
