There was that one from '10 where he said something along the lines of:
"Back in the day quarterbacks and wide receivers would run plays at night and still be able to hit their target."
Something to that effect. Really annoying.
I also hate when he's talking during the warm up, "I had a chance to talk to these two guys before the game..." etc.
Bottom line: for the most part I play with my TV muted and either listen to music or Bill Simmons podcasts on my computer. Sometimes I'll even listen to episodes of the Office... all that is more interesting and less annoying than the same commentary over and over again.
As I was writing this - I'm playing Madden right now - I heard this little gem. Gus says something like about passing and Chris jumps in with, "passing on every down seems like a better idea."Magnificent Bastards - Second to None

I hate the generic pre game line he spouts off about 2 quarterbacks having been here before, but are still getting amped up for the game. Like I get the whole storyline thing they tried to do, but when only like 5% of the games you play have specific storylines you get real repetitive pregame commentaryGo Yankees

i agree its eally annoying i started colt mckoy for the browns and everygame he says he has been here befroe lol where?? and i hate that the second string qbs or thir have no real audible voice recoding lol the startrers all have them listen sometimes lolComment

Its not what he says that bothers me, its how much he says. I seems like since he was first hired for Madden he has only recorded a few hundred lines at the most. I am in my last preaseason game in my franchise and the commentary is already repetitive.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
