Re: Go Blue: Taking Michigan Back to Glory (NCAA Football 11)

I played my Notre Dame game, and will post an update about it later.

Sorry I have kinda taken a break from this. Wanted to try a few other things on the game, and give this a break for a couple of days. But I'll be leading the Wolverines to more victories soon!

I want you guys to know that this isn't dead. I'm just taking a break, and also going after some rivalry trophies on the game.

I will definitely be continuing this dynasty.

Next up, #1 Michigan hosts #20 Boise State!

Kirk Herbstreit is picking Boise State, while Lee Corso is choosing Michigan.

Hoping to play this one today sometime. Or tonight.

I'm looking for this season to be somewhat tough as I have changed to All-American, I changed my recruiting to varsity (had it on freshman, so we'll see how much harder it is now), and I've lost all of my real Michigan players. Now it's a world of make believe...

Re: Go Blue: Taking Michigan Back to Glory (NCAA Football 11)

I would tell you good luck against Boise State, but I would be lying..

I have bounced between Heisman and All-Amercian and have decided I like All-American better with some slider adjustments that favor the CPU on run blocking and RB Ablitiy. (I found that I was holding the CPU to under 50 yds a game way to often).

I am getting alot of 2nd half comebacks and closer games which is what I wanted. .

As far as recruiting goes, I am on All-American and seem to being doing pretty well pulling in 3* and the occasional 4* which is what BSU traditionally gets..

After playing for a National Title last year, I did decide to try and go after a couple of 5* guys that had me in their Top-3 preseason.

Game Notes by Matt Lytle [from Lytle Sports Blog]

Michigan looked very impressive against the Boise State Broncos. Chris Bobo looked really good, as well as Kevin Peterson (who may be out next week when Michigan takes on Penn State). Michigan wide receiver Corey Jackson, who just received the coveted #1 on his jersey, also had a very good game.

Michigan will host the #15 ranked Penn State Nittany Lions...definitely not an easy task.

Michigan will look to continue their winning ways, and we'll see how they fair against one of their tough Big Ten opponents.

BOO!!!!!! By the way what kind of ranking does C. Jones the current BSU QB have. Obviously with as far as you are in your dynasty none of the orginal Broncos are around either.

No, there aren't any original players around anymore. I've debated stopping, and starting a new dynasty since I don't have any original players anymore. It's just kind of weird.

Anyway, I'll check next time I fire the game up.

Michigan has officially dropped to #2, although their win over Penn State was an impressive one.

Michigan continues to look very impressive this year, and I have no doubt that they can continue their winning ways with the personel that they have on both sides of the ball.

Also, wide receiver Corey Jackson continues to climb up the Heisman list, hoping to rope Michigan's first Heisman trophy since 1997.

I like how there's no Middle Tennessee State or UTEP in the top 10 after several years. I recall this being an issue in previous NCAA games. It's good to see the traditional powers in the top 10.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

"What? You can't challenge a scoring play?''

Yeah, I've seen Boise State and TCU peak into the Top 10 every once in a while, but that's realistic as well.

Earlier in my dynasty, I think Baylor wound up in there for a week or so, but eventually got knocked out.

To not get so burnt out, or sick of inputting, I'm going to do some quick recaps for certain games that may not be so important/exciting.
