World Baseball Players Association (OOTP Players League)
The WBPA is a players league. If you aren't interested in being a team owner, you can create up to 4 players and roleplay them as you see fit. You can improve your players ratings by attending live sims, writing articles, playing trivia, creating player websites, using the money from your contract on upgrades, etc. Those who are approved to be team owners assume the role of a real life GM and are responsible for making trades, signing free agents, negotiating contract extensions, etc. All players in the league are handled by real people, which creates an added challenge of having to negotiate a contract with a person instead of the AI.
Player leagues take a lot more than just joining and taking on a team and hoping you just trade and sign the right free agents. You actually control the entire part of your player or teams destiny. Want to make more money? Write a few team articles to get a bigger market share. Want to boost the stats of your player and help him develop faster? Again, write a few articles or do a bunch of the many different things you can to elevate your game.
We are currently looking for two more team owners and 100+ players (you can create up to 4 players per user). This is an excellent opportunity for you to create something in the baseball world and have complete control.
