Jordan certainly could have dunked in that situation but not off of that animation. You can't take a slow two step gather and have momentum needed to push back the defenders like that. It's just one of those things you accept in basketball games. We'll see how long that lasts.

I really like what I'm seeing. Sure, there are obvious nitpicks one can find in that video (incorrect shorts length and too modern-style graphics for that time period come to mind), but overall I'm impressed. Knowing that this video is from an older build also gives me optimism for the things they could have improved since then.

Knowing this is an older build and with the new mid-air collisions perhaps contact can play out. Taken from today's insight:

The second line of defense has been greatly enhanced as well. We’ve implemented a new midair collision system that allows for all kinds of body to body contact. If you meet a shooter in the air on his way for a layup or dunk, or if you slide underneath him to try and take a charge, you’ll see some beautiful collision animations result.
With the new midair branching system, we can keep the user-controlled defenders under the user’s control and still have a proper collision response when bodies bang.

I loved the instant replay from behind the backboard on the Jordan dunk

Yeah, gotta have a bit shorter shorts and Drexler must have medium socks (I will edit it). I loved Drexler and Kersey's dunks, those were fantastic! MJ with the calf sleeve - and it's not touching the sock ---> BEAUTIFUL! A bit short to say too much about it.

By the way, the basket's are a bit off, but not a big deal. Overall nice!

Pretty exciting to see the old Blazers too. The Drexler reverse dunk was nice. Loved that replay behind the backboard and no "sock glitch".

That Portland team was fantastic! Kersey was a beast! Power + athleticism!

Even if you dont love some of the animations, you have to love that the bodies are being respected, I havent seen any major "sucking animations" yet which is great...and that has seemed to be a theme in all the vids so far....hope this is in the final product....

That's because 2K got us used to think that the sky is the limit with 2K11...what can you do? But when you think about it, it wouldn't happen, that would be just too much, if there is such thing.

The court does look a little lighter, as if the Chicago Stadium art was just placed over the current United Center art. I noticed it was referred to as Bulls Arena at the beginning as well. I would guess Chicago Stadium rights might be hard to come by. I also saw a #1 Jones on Chicago during the intro.

Aside from that small stuff, this looks spectacular. An absolute ton of fun will be had by this guy (two thumbs, pointing at me).

I am impressed with the AI...I almost thought they're human out there with the fake pass and lob ahead for a break away dunk. This is the first time i am impressed with the AI and will be looking forward to playing Association and some other modes.

Also they mentioned about the Legendary mode in which you control only Jordan and that when you're being sub...you have to sit on the bench and watch. I believe i was the one that suggest this feature wayyy back long time ago...i guess it took them 2 or 3 years to put it in there.
