2K11 on PC
Is it the same as the consoles or is it missing a lot? I'm getting a new PC so was looking through games and saw it's only $30 on PC. I know games are normally cheaper on PC but usually it's just like $10,this cost less than the Wii version and that's a bit of a red flag, makes me wonder if it's missing half the stuff or something.Tags: None -

Re: 2K11 on PC
2k9 and 2k10 were $20
2k9 didnt have online, 2k10 did but it is less reliable than the consoles
2k9 and 2k10 both are forced to use "Alternate A" control scheme
2k10 actually fixed the big man 3 pointer bug and added stuff like refs bounce passing the ball after the PC patch
I'm hoping that 2k11 will fix the alternate control issues but other than that you can expect it to be the same exact game as the 360/PS3 versions plus the PC community patches.NBA 2K11 Community Site Mix

Re: 2K11 on PC
I've seen that quoted in previous installments to no avail, this is a game killer to me. I can't stand how the controls are mapped and the 360 controller is not fully integrated into the game - during gameplay it's telling you onscreen the keyboard shortcuts, no way you can play this game effectively with a keyboard and a mouse.Comment

post #110 in controls trailer thread- posted by jsapida

On 2K10 we were concerned about keyboard users not being able to perform iso moves (imagine 'twirling a half spin using ASWD!), thus the controller config we ended up with for that game. We have so many cool stuff for 2K11 that it just doesn't make sense to only support it for the consoles.

Re: 2K11 on PC
Hopefully, online for all the platforms will be constantly reliable and stable.2k9 and 2k10 were $20

2k9 and 2k10 both are forced to use "Alternate A" control scheme

PC version only had a somewhat stable online but still buggy (under the rim glitch or random disconnections) when the patch was dropped on mid March or early April, as far as I remember.
And yeah, control scheme for PC will be same as 360's. PC users should be able to upload Instant Replays.Follow me on Twitter: @domidomdomz

Really? I don't remember this at all. Do you have a link?I've seen that quoted in previous installments to no avail, this is a game killer to me. Re: 2K11 on PC
I know man. We use F2 to save the replays. What I was referring to is the ability to upload Instant Replays straight from a game or the Direct Upload thing.Follow me on Twitter: @domidomdomz

Re: 2K11 on PC
Yup and the difference in the control scheme.
This year, they say Draft Combine is now part of the game itself. Hopefully, the same thing happens for PC version.Follow me on Twitter: @domidomdomz

Re: 2K11 on PC
Where is everyone ordering the PC version from? I think last year it came out a week later then the console versions, and it slowly got into stores
Not sure if it will be available in stores without a pre-order, Amazon does not have release day shipping like the 360 & PS3 versions. Not sure if a Best Buy or Gamestop will let you pre-order this version to get it on release day?Comment
