Re: NBA 2K11 Video: Portland Trailblazers vs. Chicago Bulls (11 Minutes of Gameplay)
way too many dunks with defenders right in the paint...hopefully that is because it's on casual or an easy difficulty level.
the jordan 2-handed dunk was especially bad because he had a defender right in front of him and the defender just skated backwards as an air-born jordan pushed him...there should have been a collision there.Comment

Man this game is sick. This is what happens when you put the GOAT as a cover athlete. They stepped this game up in so many ways and you knew that they would because of Jordan on the cover and competiton between the other game. This is video game greatness we are witnessing here lol.. I am laughing but being serious though. For the most part they fixed, improved any negative from 2K10 and said we can improve on it and man did they improve in 2K11 to a different level. They set the bar high from everything I have seen.Comment

Re: 11 min gameplay of jordan challenge
The only dunk I have a problem with is the long pass and Kersey conversion...*shudders*
Everything else I was ok with me b\c in every instance a body was felt....even in both two handed james over people...bodys were pushed back, a contact animation played out as apposed to being phased through or nothing happening at all...
This tells me there is a base for higher difficultys where even more contact is given..Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: Portland Trailblazers vs. Chicago Bulls (11 Minutes of Gameplay)
Anybody else kind of bothered by some of the passes? That fullcourt pass from Drexler was just ridiculous imo.
Not saying he couldn't do it but I would like to see more of those passes get picked not everyone can pass like that. The CPU overall should be picked off a little more for some of the passes it throws but this could just be this build though.
I just can't see the CPU letting the user get away with stuff like that so it we should be able to return the favor. Not only by us disrupting it manually but the AI defenders helping out too...Comment

Hopefully on sim the CPU is more aware on the users side as well.
I liked what I saw in the vid from the CPU AI though especially on offence. They attacked the user, and there was a lot of good drive and kick action and the CPU didnt hesitate like in years past. Loved the Porter stepback as well. Looked very natural.Comment

I think the retail copy will go off without a hitch (at least we all hope). That of course means no patches to fix frame rate issues, and all that other nonsense that plagued 2K10. I hope stuff like what you said can be added before the release as well. Although thats not really a deal breaker, it be nice to have. The way info been flowing for this game, I wonder when the demo will come out and what will be included in that demo. These vids have me really looking forward to what's in store. It's really hard to go back and play 2k10 after seeing these vidsComment

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: Portland Trailblazers vs. Chicago Bulls (11 Minutes of Gameplay)
I am impressed with this video. I think the Bulls vs Blazers game was set at Hall of Fame difficulty. The AIs is what impressed me...they're almost human-like?? I analyze each play and I am just stunted. I never seen AI that can think like this or move like that....like Drexler faking one way and going another, then shoot a fade-away or Drexler defending MJ with 360 spin monitoring both the ball handler and MJ at the same time or AI throwing a long precision pass down the court for a dunk.
I like what i hear from the commentators so far. The crowd noise for the Chicago game....something i like and didn't like: When the game started out, the crowd sound pretty much Playoff-atmosphere. But during game, when your team is missing a shot, i expect the crowd to go "OhhhhhhHhhh" or when a steal happened, the crowd noise level should up another notch. I didn't hear any of that...instead it appears to maintain the same level. It was loud okay...but the noise changing level did not change enough to make me notice.........based on what is happening on the court.
The stadium specific noise impressive....the Jordan fade-away impressive. The hive-five between John Paxson and MJ is cool...although i like to see more celebration between teammates...basically more emotional...weather the player missing shots or making the and one shot. I like to see players get frustrated of not getting a foul after getting hammer. So i want to see them swing their arms in disgust as they run back to play D. And user should have the ability to stop that animation if they happen to control that player. This will add another level of realism in the game.Comment
