Hey guys since we're under the subject of this game as well as Michael Jordan i just thought of seeing if you guys are interested in seeing the new michael jordan jumpshot side by side comparison video i recently completed. If you are interested then feel free to click the link below, otherwise might as well ignore it. It's kinda hard to see if you're interested ever since the mod thought it was a good idea to close my thread. But anyways the mod said that if i want to see if you guys are interested in a video then post it in the thread where i got the original video from. So anyways, personally i find it much improved as you can tell that in the followthrough his hands are open instead of flicked down as we are normally taught in our generation. That's probably my favourite aspect of his jumpshot. Anyways here is the link

I'm just shocked, this game play was excellent, 2k has really done it this year. The game play is so smooth, it's amazing. The commentary is way better than last year, they show the players exact stat line. Just wow.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: Portland Trailblazers vs. Chicago Bulls (11 Minutes of Gameplay)
With all the talk of the shorts (which is legit...both Mike and Scotty don't look as lean and athletic as they should) an equal problem IMO is Jordan having no elevation on either his jump shot or drives to the rack. Every mid-range shot he took in the video didn't come close to matching the bounce he got off the floor in his prime. Basically, the Jordan I saw in the video looked like washed up Wizards Mike. No explosion off the floor on his drives, and Del Curry like lift on his pull up. Kobe suffers the same flaw...there's a reason both Kobe and Mike score at will and rarely get a mid range shot contested, let alone blocked...elevation. This is damn near a joy breaker for me, because if Mike is in the game (and on the cover) his athleticism should be represented, and right now it's not even close.Comment

Even if they don't do that, making them mostly black instead of all white would simply look better. White guys in 2K aren't aesthetically the better looking player models, that's for sure lol.Comment

Yes. He is playing like a conventional Small Forward instead of a Point Forward. Paxson brought up he ball almost all the time. Hopefully this due because of the early build the game was played on.
Either way, Scottie should play as a Point Forward and have a good play-making rating alongside the tendencies of a G/F. Scottie was the real Point Guard of the 90's Bulls team.Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: Portland Trailblazers vs. Chicago Bulls (11 Minutes of Gameplay)
I just might be in the minority and normally I don't nitpick a lot but I didn't feel they captured the essence of Jordan. The whole time I didn't see anything Jordan esqe. From the shorts, the jumpshot, the dribbling, the fadeaway, nothing. The game looks good as always and appreciate all the upgrades but I am not feeling Jordan. I am disappointed but not enough for me not to buy the game. I just had real high hopes and that since Jordan was the cover guy he would be the main one to have right. Hopefully 2k is still working on getting him close to perfect.Comment
