come on it's pretty obvious what happened and he was there for a year and a half, he came in mid way in live 09 and was told he would be given time to reestablish the game franchise he had lead on Live 10 and thought he could build upon Live 10 next year then the term RTP came out and EA higher up felt this was the future and decided to rush to implement this into their game, the fact is every game that has RTP took had years to develop it and perfect it to some extend so forcing a game to have it with less than a year of development is crazy and it also put into respect that there is not to compare a Rob Jones type person in EA because the guy in charge of Elite still has people above him that can override him which is why the future of Elite is not set in stone because if sales are bad who is to say that they just wont shut it down or have them start from scratch again.

I really think he could of helped a lot if he stayed. They could of used his knack for fine details and what not. I would of left to if I was promised my own direction, then they just flip on you when someone else has this other idea for Live/Elite.

I've seen what it will look like online and against a real player. It looks terrible.

If you really want to know how a game plays play against a human.

It will show all of it's fault. See Madden online.

Anyway, after watching these videos, i'm not very impressed. The player movement looked weird. But hey, i must stay positive, can't really judge on anything until the game comes out, right? Anyway, i liked the court, it looked really rich, and the ESPN scoreboard looked sweet, i'll check the demo out.

yeah i know ea been doggin us, but i like da fact they giving da user more control dis year. the thing i hated about live 10 was all them dumb animations da game made u do, like when u had a open lay up and the game would make your player do a 93 jordan fade-away from 1 inch away from the rim dat was just stupid...but i have to respect ea for letting us have all the control in elite.all they have to really do is take away them corner forcefields like when people just run to da corner with mo will finley nash gibson curry for glitch threes and u know what they was bout to do in u couldnt stop it because ainvisible forcefield would hold u back from blocking da shot. dats what they really need to focus on and some other things but ill get into dat later

also in live 10 the down low post game was very terrible again like i said dat was a not having enough control of your player thing...see me i played organized ball football and basketball i know sports.. so i know how to play da game.so when i wanted a simple turn around hook shot or a fake to da left fake to da right then once i got da defender to go da other direction i wanted to just turn to the rim for dunk or lay-up my option not da games animation option dats what was not in live 10 ...for some reason it was in live 08 but not in live 10 dats crazy but i like da fact ea is going back in dat direction in adding the post game back in elite 11

That's why these arguments of "But it felt great, when I was playing it" are null and void. Who cares what it feels like if the online games are going to look like that?!!

Yes, you can respond with "Well when it's in the hands of two skilled players holding back and earnestly trying to play sim ball.....then it could look better". But we all know how 80-90% of all online users play. Most games will most likely look like these videos.

i can care less if people wanna play stupid and dont wanna play right ....but what i do care about is capitalising of off these lame arcade baller stupid techniques...and what i mean by dat is if u gonna fullcourt press me the whole game then i should just be able to make a easy over head pass down court to a open player for a easy open jumpshot every time....and for arcade ballers who wanna tap the steal button like a million times there should be a protect the ball button like how when derek fisher dribbles da ball up court and when these lames keep tapping da steal button every time then it should be a reach in foul... dat would keep these arcade ballers in check

I dont play online and I dont think any sports game should be made with an online gamers wet dream as their priority. Get the AI right first.

There will never be a game code to stop cheesers, but the more people complain about them, the more they continue to play randoms online anyway.

I say thats your own fault, find someone else to play with.

but the passing is terrible u can be passing the ball no where near da defender and the ball would get stolen......its like a suction magnitised steal..da ball would warp or teleport in the defender hands like raiden on mortal kombat lol lol ...but seriously dats a big part of da problem ...its like a set up tactic these arcade baller lames do ...cause they know if they press u and tap the steal button like a million times they gone ..1 get da steal or 2...u have to pass da ball and then they can get their magnitised suction glitch steal and a turnover.. to me dats what ea really needs to address and fix ,reach in foul calls..and more height on their passes or the ability to perform different passes such *** lob passes, bounce passes or bullet passes so u can beat those tactics these lame arcade ballers and glitchers..ohh and of course fix all dat ice skating its like basketball on ice lol lol madden too

Online gaming against random sports gamers is not what I care for

First and foremost it is the core game which is most important

If I want to play someone, I play someone I know or some of the guys from this site or whatever.

Continuing to go online playing kids and guys you know will stick you with a needle is your own fault if you decide to continue to do so

...and for the record I have all 3 systems, but im not sure why its important to bring up what the system is for.

Online shows the game in its truest form, warts and all. That goes for any game.

I won't make any final judgment until the demo, but it's unfortunate right now visually Elite 11 looks terrible. However I am curious in the future to see if they can finally get their animations and player models right how it would mesh with this new foundation.

playing online is not da problem..what does online have to do with gameplay.its not about being online its about da game allowing cheesers and glitchers and arcade ballers to do the things they are doing not playing online aint gone solve nothing. what im talking bout is simple basketball principals and tactics ...in the nba if you press a team da whole game their gonna make dat over head pass almost 9 out of 10 times to dat open player and it will be a open high percentage shot..easy and also the other team is gonna be tired from from dat back in fourth running down the court from always pressing ..now what im saying is if these arcade ballers wanna keep playing off balance then they should always get beat by a real simulation baller who plays realisticly...at da end of day simple proper basketball fundamentals should beat off balance out of place cheesers and lame arcade ballers all the time...easy and dats real talk u feel me
