No one is trying to ruin your fun Trojan. I know what I see and hear. Others share the sentiment I posted, the only difference is, I'll let it be known how I feel. I talk to a lot of different people, and hear a lot of complaints and differing opinions.

    Watch out for crossing routes/slants
Also watch out for quick passes to the te
these two things have been brought up as complaints. Especially the TE glitch/ quick snap.

Again, I know what I see and hear, and from my stand point 1+1=2.

      Yeah one other thing...

      Colts:
      Offense

Don't assume a fg att or punt is coming on Any fourth down no matter the field position, time remaining or score.

He will go for it when he is up by 10 or up by 28.

Treat 4th down like you would any other down.

Very nice. I guess those three losses are really starting to frustrate you.

No, not really. I forgot to put it in the first post. I'll have plenty more losses to come. I like having high draft picks.

Whats that about? I throw to my TE a lot and I dont want to do anything close to a glitch.

I didn't know it was a glitch. I think all my TE plays are glitches, but that's cause I have Vernon Davis. He is the glitch in the matrix.

I think we should ban the word glitch from this thread! It may keep things a bit more constructive. We can always argue that stuff in the strategy thread.

The TE quick snap is a real glitch, and just plain ole hitting the "insert TE name here" button is not. So for guys like sb who use their TE a lot as their security blanket, like a lot of QBs do in real life, that's not in question. But snapping the ball and bulleting the ball to the TE right away no matter what the route and getting an ez completion every time is. The only way to stop it is to manually cover the TE at the line which leads to something else being open or exploited.

If you don't want to call it a glitch, fine. Call it what it real is, cheese.

I don't believe anyone does that here, I honestly hope no one is. If they are, I really don't see why they joined a SIM league in the 1st place.

Dubb, I hate to be the bearer of bad news then, but there is(are) ppl in this league that do it, that's why it was brought up. Not trying to destroy your faith in the league, but not everyone plays with the level of integrity that you do.

Personally I don't, but seeing that I already have a player that's been called a glitch (see Chris Johnson), so maybe I'm a cheezer and I just don't know it. Lol.

I haven't played the(those) ppl personally, so I cant speak from first hand experience, but I hope the ppl who have will speak up and add validity to this claim and share their experiences.

                        Texans -

Offense - Andre Andre Andre, respect the fact that he is great. Be aware that this game is Offensive Heavy, so dont try to stop him in all honesty just contain him. Make sure you have people in position to stop him from breaking the game wide open. Don't hit stick him, simply go for the tackle. When the ball is in the air remember the swat is better than a missed INT and in all honesty you might get the INT off a tip anyway. Nothing is worse than a 10 yard completion with 60 yards YAC so take the catch make the tackle live to play another down. Remember if folks throw the ball 25 plus times, they are must likely going to make a mistake here and there... Just wait for it. The next read will be TE Owens, smart suggestion may be to play inside and use a double team on Johnson on the outside. This will allow you to sit on the slants while also looking to take away any middle routes run by the TE.

                        Rams -

Action Jackson is the name, he is the best player on the O by far. So it is wise to Gameplan around him. He is a target to come out the backfield so if lined up on either side of the QB dont be afraid to shift your LBs over, its OK to over commit. The passing game is very questionable so choose who you want to deny. With only one real decent reciever in Avery its OK to get crazy with some blitzs and man coverage. There is not that speed threat so even getting beat isn't going to hurt that much. SN It would be smart to cover the flats manually. Remember you can roam the field with this team b/c for Well Well to be great he needs big production from the dreaded monster, so make him your first read every play. Do not shy away from covering the flats yourself with the LB OR Safety that play a under zone. Also stuff the middle from time to time, pressure on the QB is great, but for this team stopping the draw may be more important. Make Sam Bradford win the game... hes a rookie and his throws show it from time to time.

                        Defense

James Laurinaitis watch him, Well Well is great at getting to the point of impact. He will meet you in the lane and lay your *** out, he also pursues very fast so you have to slow him down. Take a toss play and cut it close to the tackle from time to time. Call a counter, or do a PAF and get some depth in the middle. You can't just do the shallow cross A. its wack lol and B. James is kinda fast and could still disrupt that play. Use his aggressiveness agaisnt him. Once he starts to doubt where to go with the MLB the field will open up a bit more.

Can someone help me out? Is there a way to practice DEFENSE in PRACTICE Mode? I wanted to try some things out in Practice Mode & couldn't? Options available were: Normal, Offense, Kick Only

For the life of me I couldn't find an option for DEFENSE....... Am I blind or something

Not blind, just not knowing where to look. In order to play D you have to either have 2 controllers and play as the away team in normal practice. Annoying, yes?

Real simple way is to go into practice options after you've started practice and choose Flip Slides, maybe it says switch sides. You have to run an offensive play first, then you can be the defense. Voila!

Yeah, me either. I didn't know you could throw to a guy before his route develops. I have problems throwing too early in the route all the time, which leads to balls sailing over guys' heads.
