im just wondering if this will actually change the possibilities or other opportunities that my PLAYER gets, or if it will just be a advertising ploy where it only gives us accessories etc. where they won't have an impact on the player himself so to say.

If the graphics in 2k were better...It could be the greatest basketball game ever but the cartoony graphics just dont cut it. even though all the game modes on this game are making me buy it another year.

Man, you've got to be kidding us all... have you played NBA 2K10 on a real nice PC setup? the graphics is phenomenal, only thing they have to improve maybe next year on NBA 2K12 is the faces and that's all but everything is amazing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion anyway, so peace to all!

Sounds like you need to upgrade your TV or eyeglass prescription. The graphics and even more importantly the animations this year are in a league of there own!
