The reviewer stated that the BAGM wasn't touched this year. That's wrong, correct? I just read the other thread where a mod listed all of the changes to that mode.

It is wrong. RFA/UFA rules, CHL was added, draft years were extended to six years ahead (I think that's new). Qualifying offers and such and such wasn't even touched on.

Literally, that review seems like it was written last year and applied to this game, except for the paragraphs on HUT.

The video review was a bit better...he did go back to 'no new mode to wow the fans' citing that HUT has been seen in other games.

Sad to hear the Cellphone stuff is back.

With the inclusion the CHL I'm dying to know if your BAP can be sent back to your junior club if you don't make the NHL in your first year.

True, most sites admit that they tend to farm out sports game reviews because none of the regular writing staff like them.

It doesn't seem like the reviewer is a big hockey fan overall.

Although interesting that he'd bring up the fact the game feels too slow for Hockey, I didn't get that impression from the demo. I felt the pacing was a little more deliberate, but still appropriately fast.

I am very surprised about the score actually I was looking for a 9.5
score nothing less. The game is leaps and bounds the best sports
game of 2010 but FIFA 11 may be pretty good as well. I am very
excited about this baby and can't wait till Tuesday. Go Hawks!!

I highly doubt he even went that far, cause he failed to note just about everything they worked on for this year.

No. In BAP you start as a 20 year-old with your last shot at impressing the NHL scouts in the Memorial Cup. I think I might give it a go tonight if I can't get some OTP going...
