2010 NFL Kickoff: Vikings @ Saints

Man, I can't wait for this game, especially with Favre back. So much so I took off work just to watch the rematch of the NFC Championship Game.

Since the NFL had the Super Bowl winner host the Kickoff Game, the SB winner is 6-0 those games. I don't expect that trend to change. I think the loss of Sidney Rice is big (interested to see how Favre and Walker connect though) and I think the Saints pick up where the left off (in playoffs, not last three of regular season) and win this game 34-20.

    Thoughts? Predictions?

I think I was like 1-7 whenever I picked against the Saints last year so I think I'll switch that up and pick them this time lol.

    28-17 Saints.

I'm not predicting a score but the Saints are gonna win.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Saints will win by double digits IMO. I think Favre is gonna get knocked around quite a bit and probably throw a couple INTs.

I think both team take a step back from their '09 form.

                31-21 Saints.

This Saints team is better than the Superbowl team.

                  Saints 38-17.

Saints will win but, I think It'll be a great game. I get the feeling this game is going to have quite a few injuries. Definitely going to be a hard hitting game.

I wonder if the Saints will snap one of Favre's bones. But yeah Saints.

The way their O-line has looked its good chance. I get the feeling he's not going to last this season.

He looked really old after the championship game and during the preseason he really doesn't seem like he wants to be playing this year. This is the year I can see him finally retiring for good cause he looks like he's about done.

Yeaah greg williams is gonna have his defense pumped and aggressive like normal, first game of the season against the vikes there are gonna be quite a few of hard hits.

Reggie is gonna make a big difference in this game I think

Saints win. Favre will be rusty coming back with just three weeks of practice time, a bad ankle, and no Sidney Rice. The Vikings defense is good, but it's hard to keep the Saints out of the end zone.
