Wouldn't expect it till week 1... the rest of this week if gonna be full of teams making roster moves making it kinda pointless to put one out this week.

The 3rd roster update will be out on this upcoming Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Its like that every year.

I was wondering the same thing. I believe it came out Thursday evening before the game last year. That would be perfect and I can start my REAL franchise! Looking forward to it!

Since they omitted some players like V. Jackson, Rice, Dumvervil, etc. in the Roster update becuase of IR, and holdouts - how does that effect franchise mode? If you start one are they gone "forever?" I don't get why EA did that. Do they update the rosters that don't effect offline franchise mode?
