These vids are excellent for anyone who needs to see, first hand, that the rules of basketball are not, and have never been incorporated in NBA Live (I refuse to call something this bad "Elite".

It should be perfectly clear to even the casual observer that this is an abomination.

Where the hell is the kicked-ball violation when the ball is bounce passed 15 ft THRU 3 DEFENDERS?

Okay this is the more important fact,....have you ever did a travel in a video game that didn't seem legit based on you other than a tech error............Dude video games aren't ment to do small traveling eras other then the ones you make them commit. WHy would Elite slidein traveling in a simlulation basketball game...so are we also throwing in illegal moving screens into our basketball games to make them realistic TOO!...those things are errors within simuilations not representing simulation at its finest..saying the traveling in Elite is something they did to add to realism is------------------

Then again Elite isn't basketball at its finest..so i stand corrected rigt..

alot better, but the game still look like its being the nba or I,robots. They move quick, and stiffness, and the game pace is fast. there's no way chris bosh would rebound and bring it out that fast without losing a little control. that canimation wade dunk! Ugh, don't get me started! Just a dunk fest. too easy to get in the paint. spacing seems off 3 shots, rest dunks.

User is abusing the dribblling system..not playing defense or smart ball, just abusing the dribbling stick

I wonder what difficulty this is on.

Being that a basketball court is not as big as other playing fields in sports speed probably is not as big as a factor but what is a major factor is acceleration. Madden/Ncaa did a good job with those two and live should also follow suit with accelration. James should have left d12 standing there simply cause he could gather his speed faster then d12.

Second thing i see is way to many dunk less than 2 mintues into the video smh, where is the defense. I mean you just hop step through anyone, where is the RTG (Real Time Gimmicks ) at??

Well the last two videos are definately an improvement over the previous build.
But al in all it still looks like a major WIP to me, far more than a month removed from being a ginished product.
Way to much speed warps on animations and way to little player distinctions + some animations look down right ugly.
It may be a good game to play, but it will certainly not be a good game to watch.

Oh and that carter move was a major travel since he dribbled, picked up the ball and then dribled again so it's a DOUBLE DRIBBLE even before the hop-step...should'ah been called

Wow in the first few seconds of the video i see Dwight do a turn around jumper right near the basket, like when have you ever seen him do that??? WTF like i keep sayin where is the realisim. Iv'e seen that little turn around jumper while close to the basket way to many time in these videos.

I agree. The jumper seems to be these guy's go-to-move out of the post.

It's all user controlled though so it doesn't make much of a difference. Just funny to see experienced players use it so often.

Thats the lamest exscuse i ever heared it is called in the NBA it just rarely happens players don't travel alot but when it happens its called at any situation..remember Lebron's so called crab walk................TRAVEl it was called in a clutch shot situation

back on topic I see rtp shows a lot of promises but I have the feeling it doesn't detect very well collisions from the side in mid air only from the front. HOwever it could be the vid that gives me that impression.

Which basketball games don't have problems with player animations causing uncalled travels? There have been many instances in every basketball game of players moving illegally (usually via pumpfake) or guys coming to a stop after dribbling, then taking 2 steps for a dunk or layup. Singling out this game as uniquely having these problems is crazy.

What i'm saying is that its quite obvious Carter traveled if he dribbbled jump then dribbled again right before he dunked..wait so your saying since players fight in the nba that we should include that 2...its a glitch it happens but don't use..OH IT HAPPENS IN THE NBA SO THATS WHY ITS IN THE GAME haven't seen one yet in THAT OTHER GAME..so why is it in this one..oh wait its a 3 year plan..so i'll cop it in 3 years and you should to

Did anyone else think that they got Dwight Howard's body type and build spot on? I felt that I could easily spot Dwight in the crown in that gameplay video. He looked perfectly lean whereas in the other game he looks less athletic and more bulky.
