what do you guys think?? are you restarting?
No chance of re-starting. I have put too much time and effort into my current dynasty to start over. I will just deal with it.

Quite honestly, I don't see how guys can wait months before starting their dynasties with this great game.

Thank you EA! Keep up the awesome customer support. Wow, I can't believe I just said that. Perhaps they're starting to turn the corner over there.

I've almost entirely stopped calling zone defenses, which prevents me from using about 70% of my defensive playbook.
They said they are going to tone down man to man coverage so I'm hoping that means zone defense will be better even if they do nothing to this area. At least I'm hoping.

Patches can only be downloaded directly through your console via the game disc. There is no way to get a file to copy on to your system. You will have to connect your PS3 to the internet somewhere.

After reading through this entire thread, it seems a lot of people feel that the changes they have made might correct the depth chart issues. I hope you guys are right. That's my biggest issue as of now.

One other thing I hoped they would have fixed was the sim stats. I mainly just do completely sim dynasties, so I hate to see my stud running back end the season with 3.7 ypc or whatever. Not a game breaker by any means, but still, some of the stats are pretty screwy.

I understand the need to do some more tuning but if major strategic elements of the game aren't repaired, it's all for naught.
As Pitt I do a lot of sweeps and outside runs with Lewis, due to his speed. Don't to much play action, strangely the normal slants work pretty well against most coverages I see.

I don't necessarily mind playing the game again, I just hate recruiting over and over. Got kind of attached to my QB I picked up this time, but eh, too many fixes not to start over. Last time I'll probably care enough though

It'd be sick if this patch secretly contained all the pro combat uniforms and the regular unis they left out the first time around.

Is the PA problem something that occurs at higher difficulty levels? I play on AA and my play action doesn't get blown up at a higher rate than any other play. I also can use runs out of the shotgun fairly effectively. The only plays that seem completely useless are the read options because of how slowly they develop.

I wish we could get a conference patch for the 2011 season in our dynasty! i don't want to have to schedule in Nebraska as an ooc game!

I;m not going to restart my dynasty... Going to keep going. Dynasty plays pretty well right now, minus the depth charts and I don't mind the lack of in-season progression. I'll be glad when it's back but I've done too much work in my dynasty to reset it.

Yeah, I'm a little worried that by cutting down on man-to-man, they're hoping to "solve" the zone problem by making man to man just as bad as zone.

We'll find out tomorrow I guess..

At least that would mean that you could crank the pass coverage above 50 without it killing the game. Things might actually be better, theoretically - wouldn't know for sure though because I've never played this year's game with it higher than 50, and most of the time it's been in the 35-45 range.
