same here.

Just finished a franchise game. Based off this one game, I'd say LBs are able to change direction quickly (I have a few studs tho from the draft), and pro tak appears to work except when the runner is on his way down from the first tackler.

Did you use the old audible system at all or this you stick with the strat?

A question to me from the other thread:

Did you use the old audible system at all or this you stick with the strat?

I stuck with the strat. I didn't do a lot with the old system but it looks like they are both on by default, as for some reason I kept sending my DL into coverage. . I ended up toggling off the old system under Settings.

I think the patch has made some major improvements in gameplay! Defense seems to be more awake and players seem to be more agile and easier to control! This is just my impression from playing a cpl qtrs offline.. Someone back me up on this!!

Since they made it where u don't have to hit a button to activate the strat pad first u can just start making changes.. I doubt I'll even use the old controls now.. Seems way simpler now that u don't have to hit the extra button!!

Edit: still have to hit it to activate it on offense but not on D .. No need to hit any direction first just start makin ur changes

That's better than the initial post I read that said nothing changed and the person was discouraged.

Are you able to defend the pass any better?

I'm going to have to say yes.. Seems like every1 on the field is moving faster.. Had to go to the settings and make sure it was still set on the right speed setting! Like the way it feels so far! Seems to me like there was a problem with acceleration before and it seems like they have addressed it..

Where's my backup??

It seems as if Last year there was a tweak to the acceleration and then 82 speed LBs were hanging around 95 speed WRs. Does it seem this way now that they tweaked stuff?

there was a menu option for this all along. you could always turn off the need for the first button press

Guys;

Here is what Ian said in the blog about a month ago.

Strategy Pad and Madden Moments Live would be in the first patch, this one. This is what he also said would be in it.

In that update we will also have numerous art, gameplay, and stability fixes included as well.

The patch at the end of September will have more defensive coverage fixes, broken tackle fixes, etc........

Hey, at least they delivered on time and delivered on what they said they would deliver for the first patch.
