Thanks Lam. So basically without EA online pass on my console, I can only fix half of the game's problems?(I can get updates but not tuner packs?). This stinks.............
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

In-season progression is nice but I don't want them to risk screwing up all of dynasty mode just so my pet receiver can gain 3 OVR points in a few weeks.
I agree. In-season progression should not be a huge part of the overall progression for recruits, only as a small reward for some players.

If you're not seeing that then there may be an issue, if that isn't enough well then we can have another "discussion" about it .

I like that the progression is minimal in-season. Great move!

Thanks man I'm doing that now. I was wondering why ppl were complaining about the Robo QB and a lack of overthrows by the CPU when I was seeing this all the time. I'm not sure if this was an issue after a patch or a tuner pack, but I would see the CPU throw deep and overthrow all the time. Now I'm wondering if I buy this thing and get these tuners if I will even like the game afterwards. *Sigh*

Man coverage needs a boost now with the sliders, easy to run post routes. I enjoyed the cpu having a run game it really made the game seem worth the $60, that is if everything else still works.
This is what i hate about EA " Man coverage needs a boost now with the sliders".

When they need to fix something they go the other way arround...
              593yds and 334 passing yds?

Pfft... don't buy into all of that crap the game was bad after the patch and tuner. The people that relay that type of opinion are the one that didn't bother with adjusting their sliders. It is true that the second patch ruined my online experience, but I don't blame EA for that, I blame the idiots that exploited the glitch. I mean just because it is there, doesn't mean you have to use it. The other issue I had with the patch is, that it caused the running game for the CPU to go kaput. Other than that, dirty uniforms and beautiful gameplay from other aspects of the game. I think it is safe to say you will enjoy the changes.

2:00 CDT... and still no 360 patch. I'm getting extremely worried.

I was realllllllllly looking forward to starting my new Nebraska dynasty.

Thank you very much I just downloaded the tuners. I was on AA difficulty with pass coverage at 45 for both sides before I ever had tuners (I feel silly thinking I had them the whole time lol). The 'psychic' ability of the DB's was never an issue at that setting. I see a huge difference in man coverage now it's very soft. This combined with the super accuracy of the QB's is gonna be an issue. You're right SEC I'm waiting patiently on your new slider tweaks hope you make some soon.

3 point in a few weeks is a giant leap from 1 point in an entire year. It should be done halfway through the season with a jump of between 2-5 points. What is a one point differential anyways? To be honest it probably means very little if anything in the actual gameplay.

Im not asking for outrageous progression stats. I just want to see progression. I simulated 4 weeks on a online dynasty and no progression was given in any category. I dont think progression was added with patch thats my issue.

I don't see any players on any team that received +1 attributes during the season. I'm in Week 15.

Cough up a spreadsheet. Until then it sounds like speculation and guesswork. Did you check position-specific ratings for all players on a few teams? Did you try running an entire season and then checking? To me, "I simmed four weeks and didn't see anything different" sounds a lot like "I barely checked and am jumping to the worst possible conclusion." This place is a crowded theater - let's stop shouting "FIRE," eh?
