Depends. I live near New Orleans on the West Bank. I know of at least 3 stores within a couple miles of my house. Don't ask me why they're so many, in fact two of them aren't even 400 yards from each other.Comment

Re: Will Gamestop do a midnight release this year?
Honest question: For midnight releases, do you guys buy these games then play them deep into the night?
Historically, I have always bought NBA2K on the morning of release and thereby had a fully rested day of playing opportunity. If I picked it up at midnight, I'd feel 1) Like I'd fall asleep after two hours of play or 2) Save it for the morning then struggle to sleep due to the anticipation.Comment

Re: Will Gamestop do a midnight release this year?
It depends on where you live at. Most of the time my local GS always has midnight release for most big title games that come out. Since NBA 2K11 and NBA Elite both come out the same night. I'm sure the chances of a midnight release is good. But again it all depends on where you live and if your local GS is known for doing alot of midnight releases for games.Comment

i love when you go to a game stop and you buy a sports Title and the zit faced Emo kid looks at you like your buying CRACK from a 12 yr old. lol and they always say " you should get a FPS game " or "would you like to reserve WOW " lol and i'm like no.. then he looks at me like i'm not a true gamer.. Re: Will Gamestop do a midnight release this year?
But back on topic - midnight launches are governed by preorders. What helps the preorders is how much the store actually pimps the preorder. Some stores get "orders" to pimp certain titles, but normally, the store's staff controls that the most. If you have people at your local store hyping the games, chances are good. But if they are FPS nerds, forget about it.Last edited by Boilerbuzz; 09-08-2010, 12:06 PM.Comment

Luckily we were loaded to begin with so I don't think it hurts us TOO much. As long as T.J. Yates doesn't suck *** (again) I think we're still a top 20 team. I'm just waiting for Quinn and Deunta Williams to get cleared and our defense should be dominant again. I don't blame it on Butch Davis too much, the tutor was here before he was. I was more concerned about bringing in John Blake. That's probably where all the agent stuff started. Freaking Marvin Austin thinking he's already in the NFL. I have been waiting so long for our football team to become good and was looking forward to gloating about both our football and basketball teams.Comment
