a couple of things to note:

-game flows better
-gus seems to have calmed down a bit. the commentary seems to follow the on-field action better. it has a better overall approach.
-both teams wear the dark jerseys when selecting afl modern presentation(this didn't happen pre patch).

Is anybody else's game not loading since the patch? I can't get past the loading screen after team select.

lighting looks the same to me as it did before the patch.

I downloaded the update on my PS3 and all my management settings were changed from user to CPU. I noticed after the off season management and guys I released were back on my team with huge bonuses!

Just wanted to make the community aware to check this!

Right here, and it seems like the community keeps burying this concern more than just a few of us have addressed. It's gone without comment, really. I'm going to try to reinstall the patch, but I don't know what difference it will make.

Does anybody know which player models were fixed with this 2nd patch update?

At least MJD after the first change he looked like a short lineman. Now he looks good and so do the Jaguars helmets now that the logo isnt so outrageously huge. The only bad thing is that they only fixed one of the helmets.

They seemed to have fixed Revis aswell, they gave him alil more bulk, or maybe I'm seeing things. Who knows.

Oh yea and they changed his face and skin color, not sure if this was in during the last roster update though.

smh...i waited for this patch to come out since i got the game, but dood really? they said the same pre play controls as madden 11 and i don't get that, i still have to use the strat pad....

why would they even release a half done patch and this is boarderline a half finished game, no way it should have gone for 60

i haven't seen any changes as far as the d-pad or being able to challenge a friend to an online "ranked" game yet..i thought that was one thing they were going to fix in the week 1 update? or are they releasing more than once patch this week? the d-pad thing isint a big issue for me and as far as turning off the breast cancer awareness theme i think it is pretty cool to have it pop up during your franchise week duirng october. i will have to check to see if its available in exhibtion mode.

Wow, gameflow doesn't work correctly, My Gameplan doesn't work correctly, and now preplay doesn't work correcly... smh, this could be the most frustrating Madden ever

playaction pass still doesn't work properly i'm pissed off smh

how does it not work for you?
before the patch I'm able to do playaction. or do u think that every play action needs to fake out the defense?

nothing wrong with playaction.

It seems to me in my experience that you need to call playaction against the right defense.

If the D is loading up with a monster blitz, playaction probably isn't the right call, and it's best to audible out of it. But if I see that the defense isn't looking to send my QB to China through means of traveling through the turf and coming out the other side, I can play action and have enough time to find my receiver.
