I would definitely like to restart so we have the in-season progression. Oraeon's or Playmakers sliders are the best I think. I know playmakers are on varsity which a lot of people shy away from but you should try them out if you haven't. I actually like his the best but suggested Oraeons cause we were already on AA.

I vote that we wait a couple of days after the patch and see which one updates first and restart the league this weekend. I dont see the point in rushing when those changes are probably going to affect the current slider settings in a big way.

I good for whatever you decide, but I agree on the passing. It's hard to get anything going when trying to pass when my guys are open and my QB throws it 10 yards away from my WR.

The only reason I would shy away from Varisty sliders are because I hate it when everyone goes 12-0. As much as losing sucks, it's realistic to lose a few games. So you tell me. Would people still lose some games against CPU's with varisty sliders?

Agreed. In a franchise i sometimes find it enjoyable to lose. Just as long as its a fair loss.

You should try the sliders. It plays much tougher than default varsity, but the other AA sliders are good.

Who knows after the patch though, sounds like its going to have a big effect on some of the slider settings.

I totally agree you lose some and ya win some, everyone has big time programs it would suck if we would have 8-10 teams a year going undeafeated.

Have you tried them? It does not play like varsity at all. The AA sliders are good too so Im not too worried about it. Just seems silly to make comments like these if you haven't tried them out.

It was realistically more difficult than the set we were using. Only thing that made that set hard was the QB overthrowing the majority of his passes. I thought it was pretty easy other than that.

Nope pal I haven't used them at all, just varsity is what turned me off, I'm open to whatever the majority decides.
Not sayin I'm against it, just takin a step backwards on easier play is what those comments were comin from.

Well from the sounds of it we have until the weekend until everyone wants to start I think, so I'll test out both sliders sets and get back to everyone.

Thoughts on a different roster set? The community roster is pretty fantastic this year.

I forgot to vote on this. Not sure about the community set haven't checked it out. Who can you download it from?

But I like DK's roster so thats my vote with community second. The default rosters are not that great with a lot of the ratings.

The community set is kool but DKs rosters r more in depth to me...and I feel there more kept up n organized....your call, now as far as sliders I think AA should be the skill level, everything after or before that is either too easy or to robo(Heisman lol) but I've read about some good Heisman ones too so again, your call...
