I am confused. What was title update #1???

I played 2 games online last night and my pass defense was horrendous! I had players in the correct place but they did not react to the ball until after the catch was made and the receiver was running by. I had to user every time to make a play on the ball and still dropped 6 picks, 2 of which were in the end zone. I pulled out the W but I have never had so much trouble getting the secondary to react...

Too little, too late. I already sold this game back. I'm done waiting for patches to make this game even playable. I'm on to NHL 11, and much more satisfied. This game needs an overhaul. I can't believe what Madden has turned into. I'm done with the series.

I still want a blog with a diagram and or confirmation that these controls are or are not the exact same as the past or like NCAA 11s


And and explain their decision/action.....................and whether we shouldn't expect them to return to their true form in future games

Pass Defense is the biggest joke in this game. You could have the best DBs on your team and they would mostly act like dummies: balls pop out of their hands with amazing frequency, aside from how they react.

The game appears to be offense oriented.

Just start with an allpro or allmadden base and then make adjustments in the cpu section.Turn down QB accuracy about 10 and wr catching down 5....boost the CPU run 5 to 10, and run blocking 5 to 10...maybe turn up the run d a bit too, and anything else until you get realism...watching the CPU QB actually underthrown and overthrown balls thi syear is great.before the WR pretty much caught it or dropped it and QBs were too accurate

I don't agree, I really think it is about the slider settings, and yes, I know it is spose to play out of the box..but it just doesn't, finding the right slider set makes a HUGE difference. I have had some amazing games and the pass defense has been amazing.

The defensive patch won't be patched until the end of September, which was noted in a blog in August.

The madden live moments are great rosters are realistic to what it was during the game. Did the saints phins one, didnt have heath evans starting and no Marshall for phins.

They added the Cowboys 50th anniversary patch today, they can do a lot more now with live tuning.

Interesting, Ian said they didn't have live tuning like College Football has.

Yeah it may not exactly be live tuning, but it's something close, because they normally wouldn't have been able to add things like the DAL patch, until the next patch came out.

Thats too bad, since this game is pretty good, this patch helped a few things. And another is coming in Sept. Considering all patching was not finished untill way later for M10, Im actually pretty pleased.

I am however upset for those that dont like the strategy pad, and were hoping to use the old M10 controls. It seems as though they werent patched in correctly. I just got used to the strat pad, so I dont care either way... but for those who are still stuck using it when they dont want to; I feel bad.

Not true. The notes for this patch clearly state some "game balancing."

Im not sure exactly what was adjusted. (and yes there will be greater adjustments in Sept.)

I feel as though reaction was reduced for the AI in this patch, which is fine... it will just mean adjusting my sliders a bit.
