NBA Elite 11 OS Exclusive Video: Miami Heat @ Orlando Magic -
Operation Sports Forums
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.

To be honest, this doesn't look like a game that is ready to be sent out to retailers. It looks like it needs another year of development for animations/quirks to be worked on, maybe then RTP will shine. Right now? It looks just about as awkward as live 10. Control is nice I guess, but it doesn't seem like its a giant upgrade over live 10's control. I'll know for sure when I get my hands on the demo.
On a positive note, this is a good nucleus. Its definitely a step in the right direction in terms of goals, but it needs a lot of work. Maybe by the time 12 or 13 drops this idea will be fully realized.

And if you roll all of that into the SMALLEST of sweet-spots, if we have an idiot-savant that has that "knack" for timing his inputs on the frame (like hundreds of fighting game nuts can do), he's negates all that and makes every bucket. The method is great. But the boolean nature of it makes it really, REALLY dangerous...
Since you can basically just crossover 100 times and get to the rim and dunk on 10 people (like d wade did), i don't think you'll have to worry people shooting jump shots online anyway.

It's a user controlled shot. If you go from 3 oclock to 12 on the stick he will do a right handed hook shot. 9 to 12 does a left handed one.
kool. however i am not worried about the user, its the cpu that scares me. they dont have stick skills and always use the default shots. but i'll have to wait for the demo to see for sure
NOW PLAYING: NBA Live, madden 11,12, battlefield v, F1 2020 and injustice 2 and COD:MW

i agree. hopefully based on whats been said about ai they wont in elite
I disagree about the Howard speed. When Howard was at the commbine he ran like a PG. James had the ball and had to slow to gather for the shot but Howard sill didnt catch him. Thats fine.

Question in regards to anyone, particularly pg,sg and sf, that wants drive to the lane? With so much effort place on total control, it seems like the only things that matters are, speed and dribbling. So what's stopping me from using the 3rd pg on the team and making him the second coming of Allen Iverson? As long as i have the stick skills, i can do it right? If this is true, there is nothing separating Lebron from a guy like Stanley Robinson, at least from getting to the rim and finishing. I really hope i'm wrong.
According to the info we have, the guys with less skill should lose the ball more often...
