I never understood that, I would love for option files this year to be region free. Therefore I won 't have to spend a extra $10-20 bucks to get the UK version.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 Interview with Jon Murphy (CVG)
I'm really torn on which console because I think its much easier to transfer files on the 360. On the ps3 you have to copy every single file which is a pain but I know the modding community always has better option files for the ps3. I still think the 360 controller is more responsive and the colors are more vibrant on the 360.Comment

Reading that interview I can only hope we will get a great PES game again. It is nice that he admits the faults of the series since going next-gen and I really hope they can solve the issues they have as when PES was at it's best there was no other game I would rather have had in my console. Infact I hardly had any other series of games in my consoles from about 1995 until PES 2008!
I just can't help but be sceptical though after seeing the hype they have given out in the past few years and then playing the garbage games they have produced.Comment

At least they'll always be WE9/PES5.Comment

So apparently those rumours about stadium editing were rubbish?
Oh well, it was still a good read.Comment

Why PS3? I am thinking about getting my first ever Soccer game this year and don't know which one to get( Fifa or PES ).I don't know a whole lot about the game but I've played World Cup this year and gotten pretty good. Would I be better suited to get this or Fifa 11? If I were to get PES would it be better to get it on PS3 rather than 360? Why?
Thank you in advance guys.I'm all for APF going PES on EA (acronyms FTW!)

I'll be downloading the demos first, so I can see how both play.
The 1st PES game I bought was 2009, for the Wii, after reading really good reviews. The graphics weren't up to par with PS3 or XBox 360, but the way the game played with the Wii controller I thought was cool. I had played FIFA in the past but felt it wasn't quite real enough. Than after all the reviews on FIFA 10, it sounded like they hit it out of the park.
The biggest plus for FIFA, they have all the licenses. Which sucks.
From previous posts it sounds like it's fairly straightforward to transfer files, and I finally got a PS3, so it makes it easier to update everything.
Is it fairly easy to edit on the PS3?
Too bad you can't edit stadiums.'Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'-Bill ShanklyComment
