Ok man Im going to be straight with you it's only out for the PS3 it hasn't gone live yet for the 360
quote from Russ
Skipping the technically details... but, be assured we are doing everything we can to work with Microsoft to get the Title Update up as soon as possible.
I cannot give a guess at when the update will be live, but the hope is sooner rather than later.
Sorry for the delay guys, we are trying to get this thing live.

My thoughts: Teams have gotten gradually worse, but it isn't quite as bad as I thought. My team (ULM) has 4 players with 90+ awareness, and 10 of the top 11 quarterbacks in the NCAA have over 80 awareness (I forget how many QBs were in the default game with over 80 awareness, I think it was 11 though, so that is a great sign.)
I'm also seeing a redshirt rate of way under 90%, 75-80 seems more reasonable, at least for the top tier players. Dunno about the bad/average ones.
WRs have a variety of elusiveness ratings, from 90's to 40's. So they don't all suck, but some do.
Likewise, not all RBs have bad acceleration. I had to dig into the will-never-start type of guys (Upperclassmen and 75 or less overall) before I started finding guys with less than 80 accel. I also found an 84 speed/99 accel guy, which I thought was pretty cool.
That's about it for now, I'll answer any other questions in the next 10 minutes, then I'm going to bed and will answer any others tomorrow.Yep. 4.Yeah i know that. The other guy who did the simming said his team LA Monroe had 4 players with 90+ awareness. I saw nothing like that. Alabama had that many players with that high of awareness. But not team like UL Monroe had anything like that.
Wheres the in-season progression they were talking about. Thats MIA still.
94 awr RS SR Fullback
93 awr RS SR Fullback
92 awr RS SR Strong Safety
90 awr RS SR Free Safety.
I feel as if that was a fluke though, especially with the fullbacks.
And for those who say it isn't broken, may I add, I have exactly ZERO players rated above 68 ovr. ZERO. That's INSANE and if you don't think it's a problem, I have no comment for you.
Some analysis on other teams:
NO other team has three players with 90 awareness (from a quick 120-team long glance)
Most teams straddle the low eighties for their best 3-4 awareness guys, some have nineties, and a few have teams full of eighties. Texas has 0 players with awareness 80 or higher.
Many lower teams have some of the worst overall teams, but most aware teams. (Me, Bowling Green, FAU, Fresno, Idaho, Kent, Mid Tenn, North Texas, Northern Illinois, New Mexico, San Diego State, Troy, UAB, Utah State, West Kentucky, and West Michigan) but only a few higher teams also have high team awareness (Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State)
So it seems lower overall players are, in general, FAR more aware than their higher rated counterparts.
54 quarterbacks have 80+ awareness. Only 32 quarterbacks on the default roster have 80+ awareness, so passing stats around the league SHOULD be higher than they are in season 1.
And one last note, the league landscape should not be the same every year. The top 30 teams shouldn't be the same, and the sucky teams shouldn't be the same. The only teams I saw make a small gain were Michigan and Notre Dame, who are now usually preseason ranked. Likewise, only Georgia Tech fell from the elite tier to the good tier. Every other team is EXACTLY the same. No way this should happen. Boise State, TCU, and to a lesser extent Utah should not be dominant forever. The teams on a small downturn, like Tennessee should not suck forever. The teams who have a one or two hit wonder this year but are normally not high in the rankings (Oregon anyone? TCU?) whould NOT stay high forever. And the sucky teams shouldn't be condemned to suck forever.
Once again, anything else anyone wants to know, ask.Comment

Even though I had a nice EA rep help me get my EA account to another email, these guys have the most basic troubleshooting/support plan setup ever. They're not equipped to make changes on the fly, they're kind of like low level ISP tech support.
The whole "turn your modem off", "clear your cache", "do the hokey pokey five times while watching Sanford and Son".Comment

I didn't see a report from ya , bud....someone else reported it, though so I caught it. I'm usually on from work, so I'm not always fast...REPORT things, guys, this thread is pretty ridiculous. The patch for 360 IS NOT out yet.
Next thing I see that's close to trolling/insulting other posters/or attacking devs, you'll be BANNED, NO MORE WARNINGS. Clear?Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Patch #3 and Live Tuning Pack 3 Available, Impressions Here (PS3
So basically the recruiting is still broken -- that is, over time the vast majority of teams gradually become worse?
For those who have played the dynasty for multiple seasons, does this pretty much kill the gameplay balance?
I've been busy with moving for a month and haven't played the game. I thought for sure they'd have fixed it by now.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Patch #3 and Live Tuning Pack 3 Available, Impressions Here (PS3
Well all the teams still take from the same pool. But what it seems is though, the 3* players are the problem, I haven't tested myself but looked at others info. The teams getting the 4 and 5* players stay up high, the teams getting the 1 and 2* move up a bit, and the teams getting 3* are ****ed.So basically the recruiting is still broken -- that is, over time the vast majority of teams gradually become worse?
