    HUT Team Building Help Please!!

Anyone wanna give me some advice on getting better players? I've played around 13 games on/offline now. I've bought a few packs with EA Pucks. So far my best players are Sergei Kostitsyn (82), Brad Winchester (79), Slava Kozlov (79), Johnny Boychuk (77). My rest of the team is pretty much terrible 60-70 Rating players.

I'm considering putting Kostitsyn up for bid since I'll probably get the most for him. Should I save up pucks to purchase Jumbo pack or do more bidding?

Should I save up my NHLers and just use scrubs and play for the future so I don't run out my NHLers' careers? Thanks a bunch!

No one can really tell you what to do, I mean its upto you and what you want to accomplish. Personally, I was sick of getting destroyed right off the bat by guys with 4 and 5 star teams on day one. I played ten games lost every one of them like 6-0 and 6-1. So I bought a couple jumbo packs. Put some of the good guys up for sale , snagged a couple vets/middle range players (80 ish overall) for fairly cheap on the trading block. That allowed me to ice a half assed team right away. From there it was upto me to figure out how to win with a mediocore team and I did. I guess my biggest advice would be dont rely on packs to get you an awesome team, use the tradeline and watch for last minute deals and dont keep all your NHL'ers, pick a core to build your starting team around and sell the rest. Hope that helps!

It's all about finding a nice balance, between buying packs, selling players, training young guys and buying players. Don't buy the peewee packs, the other three are all at least decent, with the jumbo being the best for players and the consumable being the best for training. Once you start geting more players you can cut some of the slack and trade it. Take those pucks and buy packs or players you need.

You'll be surprised how fast your team will become decent. Once you put enough time in, you will have pucks. Then it's really just up to you, and what decisions you want to make.
I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.
