That players online can purposely lag games? I've noticed when I'm winning games, there will be some terrible lag, but let the player catch up and take the lead, magically the lag is gone? I've noticed this one too many times. Is this something most are witnessing or is me just being paranoid?

I think there are many many cheats playing madden. I too experience lag at all the right times. It is a big problem that no one cares to address so thanks for posting the question.

I think there are many many cheats playing madden. I too experience lag at all the right times. It is a big problem that no one cares to address so thanks for posting the question.

I'm surprised no one else has said anything about this, it is getting out of control!

Google "lag switch". This is NOT a myth, it's a real cheat used online in many games by people to cheat.

This is really pathetic. People can't play a game without a lag switch?! This alone will make me stop playing online, the aggravation isn't worth it.

Totally agree, this "Lag Switching" is ruining online gaming simulation throughout all genres.

Well I know play some people there is always lag. Could be bad connectioon on those people end or something else. Hard to prove people are lag switching online. That's why I play with people I know and most of the time I play offline franchise mode more then anything to avoid this stuff.

Yeah, I've kind of noticed the lag too. All in all out of 10 games or so on-line I've had one decent game. The worst are the nano blitzers, followed closely the air it out every down guy, and then lagger.

thats your best bet ... OS players are more likely to be sim users than air it out blicheat type of players!

It's called a lag switch, they've been around for years

Also people with Cable Modems can hit the stand by button and then count to 8 and hit it again... and it will do the same thing as a lag switch.

People will do it most often when you are about to kick off or during a FG. Pisses me off, however you can fight fire with fire

Mabye EA should make rooms just for Cheater to include Glitchers, Cheesers, and Laggers, Nano's and what ever exploit you feel like using seperate from ones for sim players. Could have separate leader boards and all top 100 cheaters and top sim style, make it so psn's could not play on both. I dont know but on socom fireteam bravo back in the day on psp they started glitcher only rooms and it seemed to make the regular regular games better. Just my crazy thought of the day
