i dont know guys...i spent a month tweaking my sliders. only to have them go to crap. I dont like the updated gameplay. I think they removed the very slow gameplay, because everyone moves much faster now. The blocking is worse IMOP. I dont like how the screen pass works. it seems the defenese jumps the route on screen passes even if the defenders are playing off the line.

I have to agree with the above. The DL gets way too much pressure on screen plays. AFAIK, the OL is supposed to block for a bit, then go out to block for the screen. In Madden, the OL immediately run out for the screen (and generally aren't aware enough to block effectively once they get there).

I read earlier that the Cowboys have a 50th anniversary patch correct? I noticed tonight that the Vikings have a similar patch, is it in the game?

And to all the PS3 users who can't get your game to boot up - I'm on 360 but I can only suggest or offer advice. Was there a recent PS3 firmware upgrade patch (kinda like a 360 dashboard update)? If so, I might start there and make sure it installed correctly.

I'm thinking that the Madden 1.02 and the latest PS3 firmware might be having problems...

If it's not firmware related at all, and I have no idea that is even close - then I would keep the fight on that issue. I mean if you can't boot your game at all, it is broken, and that's one time where the word is warranted on this forum. If my game wouldn't even load I'd be beyond pissed.

i have noticed special teams are blocking now i actually returned a kick off and a punt for a td i have ps3 noticed jerseys still dont get dirty defense is a little quicker and smarter cause they dont really get caught by the play action unless ur having a good day running my receivers dive for the ball i kno ppl tell me for the patch 2 take full effect u have 2 delete everything dealing with madden 11 if any1 else has ps3 do the jerseys get dirty

Am I the only one that actually prefers the new 1.02 patch??....I think it improves the game somewhat. It definitely feels more responsive. Very Slow before the patch felt very sluggish, now it feels good. I might be imagining it, but it feels like there is more realistic seperation in the game now.

yea i notices this also feels like every button i press responds faster then it did b4 the patch

Field Degrate, and Dirty Uniforms?
This is a must have to put the finishing touch on the realism of Madden.
Need to see the field mess up, like the old candlestick park in the rain 80's 90's era.

I was having this problem as well. Saw on another thread that it may be an issue with playing on the "my skill" level. Very quickly this morning, I changed the skill level to All-Pro and the game loaded up. So that might be a temporary fix.

been having problems all morning was 20-3 now 20-6 due to post 9-10 update and the all the games dc'd first play unranked worked fine ....anyone else experiencing the same or similar issues

I'm going to vote for a yes to the new patch. On a PS3 and so far, no hangs like it did before.

Screens are also pretty easy for me, well about 2 in 3 result in positive yards. The rest usually have an opponent lurking around where my HB's going, or they picked up the screen pass.

I was worried the sliders would need tweaking, but I've noticed the cpu and me both have slightly easier rushing. As long as it's even I'm ok with that.

Yeah, that ius one thing i like way better about playing D on NCAA...On the other hand, NCAA does not have the zoom cam..which makes no sense, these game should always have certain features that cross over

Im on the 360 and still dont see the Breast Cancer Awareness Games....either in my chise, or in the main menu.

I know I got the patch, since I DL'ed it, and the option for the M10 audible controls are in my options menu now (it wasnt before.)

What gives? I got like a half patch.

I even tried clearing my cache and re-DL'ing it... but still no breast cancer awareness games..

Anyone else having this problem?

The issues with defense were more pressing than the strategy pad and breast cancer awareness month. As it is, the game is still basically unplayable online because the defense are dumber than stones and offline you cannot play on all madden because even if set to 0, the computer breaks way too many tackles.

Their priorities are backwards every year. This game goes back on the shelf until the next patch. I refuse to give them credit, ever since t hey secured that nfl liscence they have been putting out unfinished garbage.

Thanks for that update. I traded mine in for MLB and some credit after 6 days. I only play online. I got tired of all the screen pases, pitches and broken tackles turning the game into Arena Football.

I'll pick it up when they fix the defense.

not sure about this

i like to play on very slow game speed but it seems sped up to me...not liking the feel of the game as of late

anybody else notice a faster feel to the game--even on the slow speeds?
