I had the same message (on PS3) this morning and it happened to coincide with me
installing the patch for the first time.

I tried a re-install and still no luck.

Later I got a message the the Madden servers were down for maintenance. I am hoping that is what the message is all about.

Haven't checked lately (at work now).
