WOW!

First of all, Thank you, Czar for making my weekend by showing the Lakers vid.

Gotta love how Lakers players are really fighting to get into a post up position especially Pau and Kobe. If that was 2K10, you would try re-initiating the play just because the play break down easily then leading you to a rush shot to avoid 24 sec. violation.

Spacing and AI offensive awareness is superb. Phil Jackson would be very pleased he doesn't have to yell about spacing every single play.

Czar, you are right from what you said before. 42 Rub play is dope man. It reminds me of a play run by the Lakers against Boston on Game 3 of 2010 NBA Finals but the difference was the defense focused on blocking Kobe's path to the hoop which gave Pau an option to have an entry pass to Bynum (see Perk leave Bynum for a second).

I was really hoping to see 42 Rub in this video, and Czar didn't dissappoint. That is one of my favorite plays in the triangle, and it seems represented really well. Hopefully next year they "hand off" will be a little more fluid. But that was absoltuely amazing regardless.

Alright OS, I'm out for the night, with the thoughts of 2k dancin in my head.

This was a earlier build (early August). I'm not sure how kobe looks in 2k11, but I noticed in the heat vs suns video and the gamescon videos that the shuffling had been improved.

The movements in this Lakers video moved a little more like 2k10 (with new playbooks). I'm assuming they improved on the shuffling and skating from viewing the heat/suns and the bulls/blazers video. But I could be wrong. We'll just have to see.

edit: I watched the video again and the movements are a lot better than 2k10. They have improved a lot in this area. There was little to no shuffling in the vid.

No, just no. That does not look like the 2k shuffle at all. They are quick sputter steps into a momentum jumper. Look again.

where he pulls it behind his head, on 2k10 his shot only put it above his head and that was the same animation for other guys like rafer alston.

the spacing on the floor with the triangle offense is amazing. They (lakers) are gonna be difficult to beat, but looking forward to the challenge . I hope czar does some of the vintage teams from the Jordan challenge. Would love to see the knicks with Pat and maybe the Sonics with the Rainman Shawn Kemp

whatever way you want to spin it. that shuffle KILLS momentum. Its absolutely unnecessary and has been unavoidable since 2K1.

It might be the ported movement engine but for next gen I want to see us be able to control how many steps we put into a shot. If Im rolling left Im taking 3 steps not 1...2.. shuffle

He literally had to stop and shuffle before pulling up.

Theres no debating this as its been debated to death before.
