you obviously didn't watch the vid at all....entry pass to Bynum at 2:14 and 4:50 the ball is stolen those guys were reacting to the pass...oh and Live 10 is probably the worst example to use i can show you vids where they throw it over there heads and they dont react at all...Comment

Czar, what was their general thoughts on the "handoff" on 42 Rub? Did they seem to echo our sentiments, or what was their thinking on it? Patchable? Or is that a wait until next year type deal. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but aesthetically, looks better with a handoff.Twitter - WTF_OS

I want to be careful answering this. I have said a few times that it's still 2k. Its still not perfect. There are still going to be some things that bother some people despite all the advances the game has made. Yet the advances are undeniable.
So with everything that can detract from the game aside. I have simply found 2k11 to give me some of the most authentic "basketball" moments I have had in a video game. Please see above again...
TO ME it wasn't about did Kobe shuffle or take 3 steps. It was about how in the hell am I going to stop him and Pau... It was who can I leave on the 12 island to give that strong side help. It was about the fact that when I played the Bucks they had different sets with a different concern for me defensively.
When I play the spurs it was how can I keep duncan off the block and can I find a defensive free agent PF in time for the second half....
Then I played the Warriors and they presented a whole different set of issues for me to deal with on both ends of the floor. Does that mean that there were no warps or slight sliding here or there ? NO. But until there is a game that completely eliminates those issues they will always be apparent.
The question for me is did this happen at a rate that completely took away my enjoyment from the game or cheesed me out of victory. In my limited time with the game I have to say no.
BUT I wasn't just playing as you guys will get to play. I had the thoughts of what the community is going to want to know, what questions will they want answered, as well as trying to plan out this feature and staying focused on getting exactly what I needed to capture to make a coherent show.
So I am in no position to help guys make certain their one particular grievance was completely solved. Who could do that with so much on their plate and so little time to really play ?
So considering all of that. I am still very very impressed with the gameplay of nba 2k11. There are some people who like to nitpick a thing to death I am not one of those people. But I can appreciate when a company throws everything but the kitchensink into a game. When that happens you know it wasn't a lack of effort that something was not fixed.
Its often said but seldom understood they have less than a year to make these games. Not everything is going to be perfect.
they could have went from 80 plays to 160 and put on the back of the box that they DOUBLED the amount of plays and did that for the next 4 years... they didn't do that. They doubled the amount of plays that ANY basketball game has ever had and some folks are still not happy.... LOL .... WOW !!!
I want to be able to play basketball and not just video games like you've been saying for the last few years.
I never imagined in al my years that I could receive so much feedback from people who work directly or indirectly with the game developers. I don't expect anything to be perfect by any means I just want to feel like my $60 were worth it. I work hard for the money.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your honest opinion.Comment
