This might sound stupid, but try a MLB spy. If the QB stays in the pocket, the spy (in this case, the MLB) will just hang around the middle.

When the QB tries to sling it down the pipe, the MLB should at least be there to offer some interference.

If that doesn't work, try to determine who is killing you over the middle. If it is a TE, press him and bring the heat. Zone doesn't work too well sometimes so try it at your own risk.
